why is everyone taking morals?? Pierce's actions are justified but no one elses are? Pierce hasn't always had the best record in his home life either. Can't have it both ways people and those who ask forgiveness are forgiven. Then it's the Lord who deals with them. Any of you want to stand in judgement?? The Lord says that all will stand and those who judge will also be judged in the same manner. Just want to help some people here.

There are more important things than basketball. We need to have morals and teach them to our kids. They will need to be responsible adults someday. That is absolutely RIGHT...the PARENTS should do that!!!!!! I teach my kids the morals that they learn...comes from here at home! I don't expect others to be the one that teaches my kids right from wrong! We as parents have that responsibility. And the parents that don't are only failing their kids! Yes, it carries over into school for the teacher to reiterate what they are being taught at home. But by the time the teachers get them...it is already set in their lives. Either they are or their not! I agree - Parents are responsible for teaching them; however, in my opinion if a coach cheats, lies, etc. as a parent you can't let your child play for someone like that. It will send mixed messages to your child. |

The truth is not slander. Sorry for my absence, I can tell I was missed.. Mike does have a son with a woman he is not married to. He did walk out on the freshman, he did lie to the parents at the rec center. Again I repeat, The TRUTH is not slander. And just because he can win a couple AAU games and sweet talk the parents doesnt mean that he should be in the driver's seat. NOW another lie is trinkling down through the ranks. They say that the "Fab 7" are playing ball (undisclosed location....lol) because they are in AAU..When does AAU start may i ask. After basketball season. If the parents really suport the new cougs why dont they have their "Fab 7" turn in all their uniforms.....practice jerseys....sweats....ect...One of the new players told my son the other day they did not have enough practice uniforms because SOME people would not turn theirs in..WAY TO GO PARENTS.....

ok, you may only be a high school kid but you just pissed me off. truth is not slander and Pierces record is truth. Mike is not JR PRO. he cleans works for the city, there is a president, a board, and coaches who make the rules. He is only 1 board member. If you want to call him a liar then call them ALL liars. He has a son with me and we are not married. christ is my savior who forgives me for my sins and I take responsibility for them and own them. Mike has also. Our son has been extremely sick for over 2 years (He is 3)and instead of splitting up at this time we are friends who do the best to raise our child who is doing great now after his many surgeries. We gave up our personal lives for the sake of our child who was a blessing to us by God. Children are from God and not ours but we can be blessed with their care. He gave us Zachary after making a huge mistake. God does not have a problem with that and I will not justify it to anyone except that I am human and find myself compelled to fight back for the truth in the situation. Mike is his own man as will choose to adress other issues as he sees fit if he sees the people on here as those who are worthy to respond to. Fightthepower you have defended Pierce but he has ghosts in his closet as well as everybody and discussing coaching ideals and personal attacks are two different things. If you want to trash Me or Mikes coaching ideals then have at it. Otherwise watch wear you tread on the personal attacks on family life. You are too young to have any idea.

You simply have chosen a side according to the posts on this board. None of your children are even playing basketball for the high school! Baller, his son's name is Zachary Michael Reynolds. wrong on the first question.
He quit coaching the freshman team because they would end up like the fab 7 as you guys call them. He walked away so that Pierce could coach them in his style, not MIkes. Talk to Pierce as to why be quit. He cannot help Pierce if he does not see his vision and he felt responsible for getting the fab 7 in trouble with their style of playing. Ask Coach Pierce himself, then reply back to that one. Wrong on munber two as to why he quit.
Preacher put the wants of the community and all 7. His son is not playing a sport he loves because of the greater good. Sacrifice is a good lesson to teach anyone. thats question 3
Mike has never said they are playing AAU. It does not start till Feb. They are playing homeward bound, christian and rec leagues to stay in shape for AAU. Show me when Mike said they were playing AAU right now. Wrong on question 4.
Mike did not choose for that kid in school ball. the parent did. Mike is only an employee of the city but people assume he is over Jr. Pro when he isn't. The President and Board make the rules, not Mike, He says what the Board tell him. the city oversees the rec center while Jr. Pro is using their facility so they can keep an eye on things. Mike is an employee of the city, not Jr. Pro. He is not a fianl decision maker on anything, he does not have the authority. Wrong on your last question.

2. Reynolds knew Pierce's style when he started, he walked off for other reasons.
3 Preacher doesnt represent this whole county's welfare. He was very biased . I didnt see him protesting when other boys didnt get to play, start, or make the team. Just when his didnt.
4. His son is not playing because his father made a bad choice. His child is no better than any other father's son in this county who never made their child boycott a game. Most the men in this county who have young men playing ball hurt just as much as preachers did when their playing time is cut , but they taught their sons not to pitch baby hissy fits when things dont go their way at the expense of others.

2. I told you to ask Pierce himself, unless you are Pierce you are just assuming and that makes us both a you know what. Just a joke.
3. Apparently the community is not representative of this board and statistically speaking does not have the numbers or guests the qualify for that. He did protest for other kids last year. And ask Troy himself who wanted to quit. They all were walking after the Autin East game, including Minton who Pierce canned. Have you personally asked any of the fab 7 why they quit or are you just reading this board??(This question has nothing to do with #3)
4. Ronny did not make Troy do anything. why would Poteet leave since he was playing the whole game, or Preston?? Talk to those kids and quit talking about them to get to the truth. Why would Preston, Poteet, Norman, or Carrington quit then??? They were playing. Only Carrington goes to church there. My son quit and he asked me to. I went to the church because my son asked me to. he told me what he was doing and stated his reasons why. I supported him and he pays the consequences for his behavior whether they are bad or not. I have never seen Troy through a hissy fit. He is a true athlete who loves to play and it is his right to play the way he wants, and Pierce does not play the way he wants so he hit the door. Talk to those kids before you decide to know what they are thinking. when did you last speak to Ronny about this??? Losts of gossip here but no one goes to the horses mouth.
