I have coached with Mike and my son has played for him for a few years and I can say with confidence that he wouldn't treat Greene any different than any other player. When it comes to coaching and getting in the game or practice, they are just players to him. His only goal always is to make the players the best that they can be. Just as any coaches job, to bring out the best that every player has to offer. I don't know if Mike would consider coaching at CC, but I would let my son play for him any day. I would question just how fair Mike is. Just ask some parents that have kids playing at the recreation center. He sets some rules for some kids and other rules for other children. Pat this may be a new thread for you - look into how many tales he has told parents and coaches down at the recreation center. In addition he has let at least one player play that was too old. In my book that is cheating! Let me clear up what I was saying - I was quoting an earlier post from big blue and I did not put that in quotations. The second paragraph is my reply to bigblues quote. Here it is again. I have coached with Mike and my son has played for him for a few years and I can say with confidence that he wouldn't treat Greene any different than any other player. What point are you trying to make?? Please clarify and get to your point!! What I'm trying to say is I question just how fair Mike Reynolds is. I have witnessed how he has treated children differently and set different rules for different children and different teams. He has also allowed at least one child that was too old to play in a younger league but did not bother to tell the other teams the child was too old. I will not mention any children's names because IT IS NOT the child's fault. He has allowed some children that played school ball to come and play Jr. Pro after the season but has told others they can't and in addition he told all the coaches at the beginning of the year that NO SCHOOL BALL CHILD WOULD BE ALLOWED TO PLAY AFTER THEIR SEASON WAS OVER. Which caused some children to have to make a choice between school ball and jr. pro. and then when all was said and done he let SOME school ball children join the jr.pro team. Is this what our recreation center is teaching our children. I've read alot about how he treats all children fairly - Does this sound like he's been fair to these chilren? That's call discrimination in my book! If you don't believe this call him up and ask him if he did this. Have him get on this board and clear it up if it's not true!

The guys played really well tonight overall against a pretty powerful rebounding team. Central hit the boards hard. We handled the ball really well, made a few bad passing decisions. Zach Allen came off the bench and played outstanding. Great effort guys!! Keep up the good work.

I heard both teams played great against Central. Bekah Powell and Candice Seiber had over 20 point games. Cornbread had a nearly 30 point game against central.

Mike Reynolds is not the kind of person i would want coaching my daughter or son. He is living with and not married to one of the fab 7;s mothers. Nether the high school nor the preacher should find this behavior very appropriate. PS.Mike and her have a child togather. You know if we are going to have to take that into consideration.....We might as well just close the schools down!!!

There are more important things than basketball. We need to have morals and teach them to our kids. They will need to be responsible adults someday.

Okay....you think you know Mike's business...what if you didn't? Do we nose around and found out all of the dirt on everyone? I will be the first to say...morals is at the top of my list...but how can you judge someone....just because you happen to know something!....Do we polygraph all perspective coaches? My son played for Mike...not once did I ever hear Mike say a curse word or did my son. Or did he in any way treat my son bad or show any bad moral decisions in front of my son. I can't say that for all the coaches my kids have had!!! I have to add...I'm not saying this because I'm saying Mike should be the coach at the HS...I'm saying this because..Why slander people?...Who are you??? *you know there is a lot of people that can't see for the tree in their eye! So what's a splinter!!!

Morals or not I think it would be crazy to put reynolds in. After the highschool and now the rec center mess, the kids need less drama.

That is absolutely RIGHT...the PARENTS should do that!!!!!! I teach my kids the morals that they learn...comes from here at home! I don't expect others to be the one that teaches my kids right from wrong! We as parents have that responsibility. And the parents that don't are only failing their kids! Yes, it carries over into school for the teacher to reiterate what they are being taught at home. But by the time the teachers get them...it is already set in their lives. Either they are or their not!

To be a good coach, u should know the game and how to represent ur school and self, respectivly. Judging from the high school and rec. center incidents, Mr. Reynolds cannot do that.
I viewed the games last night. Finally something positive in Campbell Co. The games were exciting to watch. All the kids hustled 110%. Girls and Boys!
The girls playing a without 3 year stand out and the boys playing on a wing and a prayer, giving CC everything they have. Coach Chapman bringing alot to the game with experience and knowledge , always pulling off an upset with these young ladies when they are not considered a threat. Coach Pierce encouraging and motivating the boys to give their all. The boys seem to care more about playing as a team than seeing who can score the most. Thank you to all for making CCHS basketball something to look forward to again.

Well said guest and very appreciated. Yes both teams played great last night. It is a joy to watch "Cougar Basketball". The boys are playing with hearts of giants no matter the outcome they're giving it 110%.
