concerning billie ann and lms track. she has won her area and sectionals with a only a handful of really good athletes while other schools (robertsville, jefferson, lc and north middle) come stacked down line. so to say that anyone can win at the middle school level is wrong. as i stated earlier, she is a good coach for several reasons, #1. obviously her success level, which speaks for itself 2. each athlete has his/her own individual goals each meet whether they be consistently first or last, their success is measured by their improvement. 3. her lasting interest in her students be it at the next level or beyond. for example while there was a decision being made about the former basketball players being allowed to run track (uniform issue, which has been recently resolved) she would let them come and work out with her group at the middle school, so when it was resolved they wouldn't be behind. 4. the main reason she is not at the high school is a conflict with mr. seale which goes back to middle school and her friendship with mr. king as they taught pe together. she could compete at the high school level very well as couch athletes would actually get out and run for her, she is a 180 degree turnaround as far as workout schedules and knowledge of the sport, and eons past the current coaches. i have helped her and firsthand have seen the difference, she and i ran under the faulkners and everything was done right or it was kept at until it was. she has maintained that discipline in her regimen.

Stinersmom put it exactly why she is the best coach in the county. she puts kids first and helps EACH to reach their potential. Our HS could put Campbell County on the map in track if politics were not involved and what is best for the student atheletes were.
