I think CCHS is still coached by Greg Vinsant and Marsha Morton. I have no idea why Coach Evans was never given a shot up there. She may be happy where she is but I have a feeling that program would flourish with her.

billy w was ok but Hunley was a good coach. John Brown could also smoke a good team in LaFollette, there are alot of other coaches out there besides billy, please get over it

Billy Ann Evans should have a shot at the high school. Make Sharon Stiner help and those kids could go far. They are definitely not reaching their potential. Billy Ann, Jim Pierce, and Rick Hunley all are favs of mine as far as kids doing their best.

I think Coach Rutherford has the best Middle School football program in the county. At this level fundamentals are most important. His kids are very strong fundamentally, they're good sports, and they all seem to enjoy being on the team. That's the stuff we're trying to instill in the Jellico boys.

He also has more "football knowledge" than any of the other coaches...we forget he was a high school coach, and had them going in the right direction before he was replaced.

Coach Rutherford had alot of talent and momentum at CCHS. The powers that be(idiots all of them) replaced him with Big Daddy Don Rawls and he took the Cougars 0-10 in his only season there. He was the worst coach ever there by far. He had a team that could have had a winning season. Coach Rutherford is still proving he can win.

Good ole Don Rawls...he led the way for the GREAT JIM CHADWELL to become coach. Man CC football history is a story of politically caused mediocrity!!!
