Im just wondering what everyone would think if the board chooses to let Peirce go at the end of the season based on his losing record since he has returned.

Im just wondering what everyone would think if the board chooses to let Peirce go at the end of the season based on his losing record since he has returned. There is no doubt that Pierce is not a very good players coach or much of a people person. If you take that and his win/loss record, that will get almost any coach anywhere fired. It's always about, "what have you done for me lately".

If the board does indeed make this decision, you know that no one will be able to accept this reasoning, ppl like playthegame will believe whole heartedly that it was because of the 7's decision.

I know, and that's really sad that they have to lean on that for their argument.

I have never heard of a head coach here being fired midseason. It is a dangerous precident if they do that.

True, but lets take it one game at a time...there is alotta good teams left.. Powell at Powell is almost impossible to win there cuz of the officials they get...You can say the same about Karns...Oak Ridge...has talent galore those game will be true tests....Clinton at home...Clinton will be lookin for revenge....West should be a win....Central should be a win......So we have alotta winnable games like u say....I just hope we take it 1 game at a time!

I am not saying we are district champs, I just think there are winnable games on the schedule, besides Oak Ridge and Halls, I think everyone else is fair game.

I agree that they should wait until the end of the year if they are going to make a move. But who in the world do you persuade to take the job?
