Great for dedication and motivation. I am not singling out one specific person, if this is such a TEAM, the where is the team dedication and motivation?  The dedication and motivation is there that is exactly what they are showing to each other. It's hard to play above an idiotic dictator who changes your entire way of playing basketball. And that's exactly what Pierce has done with these boys. They show unity, motivation, and dedication and proving their point, they ARE a team in every aspect! |

One Question. What have they accomplished on the courts of HIGH SCHOOL, not elementary, not aau, not middle school. Nothing. To say I like to stirr up controversy, I am not the one who did not show up tonight for my team. Nothing as of now.. hmm. they are still sophomores playing seniors, an their coach is an idiot. Im not saying that there previous accoplishments are saying anything about what they are gonna do.. im jus askin what kinda point you are tryin to prove by saying they have no talent and cannot compete with the elite? soo they have dominated their whole lives but once they hit high school they jus stay at the same skill level and everyone else surpasses them? that just makes too much sense doesnt it? |

TEAM?
three of those boys ran cross country also, then played basketball whenever their football coach wouldn't find out. In the summer they practiced in the hot CC gym for 3 hours a couple hours a day with rick hunley. Paul or Len was not there. And this was times when they were not in the dead period. they went to football or basketball every day and worked in the weight room.
They were not on the beach or fishing like Paul or Len.

In your opinion, in my opinion they are a bunch of quitters. Not only did they let their team down, but their school, their community. Idiotic dictator, thats pretty strong, considering he has won district titles and competed with the best. Some Idiot.

I keep hearing about team dedication and motivation...and I know what that means to me...so someone explain what it means to Pierce fans....last time I checked team marriages were illegal!!!! What more do you want from them???

No way those kids worked in a weight room, they may have went but results tell the truth. Great for Rick Hunley, If he is so intrested why did he leave 7 years ago, and leave a program where Len Pierce was the only one that would take it?

They stuck together tonight as a team doing what they thought was best. Please remember that some of these were getting all the playing time they could handle. Norman made the winning shot and "they" all cheered from the bench with him. "They" have each others back. "They" have sacrificed summers and fri, sat. nights. They come and cheer each other on when they play other sports. "They" even join as brothers when one is baptized at church. Some of the seven that were getting to play walked away from a bad situation with their "Team". they made a sacrifice unlike you can't comprehend. They sacrificed and dedicated theirselves for a cause they believed in, and wlaked away from a game they loved.. It was the hardest thing for them to do. Some cried tonight but said they felt they did the right thing. That is class, and I don't want to take away from Minton because he is a senior and he may never play again after this year. i watched him play since he was in 4th grade. It's over for him and our kids but I hope they can make it better for the others down the road.

They probably have cutting edge coaches also. not Micky Gilley singing lost in the 50's Tonight. That makes a big difference. Things are not always as they seem grasshopper. People have the right to their own opinion. It is just like the 6th grade coach not letting our players watch the varsity play. Hakuna Matata--lets all be happy. At least the wheels are now turning and something will come from this.

Listen I like all of those boys, but I just think all the blame is on Len where some of it should be spread around. What they done tonight to them was "right" to me it was tastless and disrespectful.
