To come back and watch a game.. which would indicate that you havent been here an dont know whats goin first of all. Second.. what would you suppose they have done to get Pierce out? ask him? yeah right.. from what ive concluded from this whole thing is that Pierce is a stuborn old-school coach who only thinks he knows what hes doin. I really dont understand how people can say that they should play for the love of the game.. if the coach is the one hindering that love then how can the player jus suck it up an play? I think what they did tonight showed comradory and brotherhood. They all stuck together an did what they knew needed to be done. Pierce is a horrible coach an everyone knows it.. they finally got tired of it and as a team made a choice not to play.. by team you mean the people that quit right lol and Im pretty sure I know whats going on I know more than most Yeah thats exactly who i mean. these boys are like brothers.. ie.. a team

Unrealistic expectations + mediocre talent = not a very good basketball team. When do players accept accountabilty? ? When is someone going to say, well I turned the ball over too many times, or well I should have played better defense or I did not look inside enough. Why is every bit of this Len Pierce's fault???

We all know, as well as the boys, when they had a bad game or made to many mistakes.. the fact of the matter is.. a team plays better when they enjoy to play

They should enjoy to play because of the opportunity. Take advantage of the chance. Why should Pierce be fired for standing his ground as a coach. Afterall isnt that his job is to do things his way.

Zooker, when a team loses or does not even compete well, it is the coaches fault, every time. He is there to teach and motivate. All these kids are just as fundamentally sound as other schools kids. That is what gets me about this whole thing. CC has a way of telling our kids in football, basketball, track, baseball, or whatever that they cannot compete with other schools. that we do not have the talent the other schools have. We are 5a and its not fair. So who is whining? We do have the talent, skills, and motivation. but somewhere between 8th grade and 10th grade it gets lost. You ever watch these kids in Atlanta and Memphis play with the elite in the State? Many have. These kids have been on a downhill spiral fast. It's sad to blame kids for adults mistake. learn, teach, relearn.

Green's dad coaches first of all.. so regardless he was gonna be there. an Cory had his own reasons.. but as we all know from what happened earlier that Cory wasnt too fond of Pierce either, an the others were not originally on the varsity therefore arent even apart of this.. so no there was only one team..

Let me say this...REBEKAH....has played for the love of the game since she was 5!!!...and she has owned more than one boy in her time.....she has played for coaches she didn't like and coaches she didn't agree with!!! But NEVER has she had a coach that was not morally sound! This is a whole different matter than boys politics....this is about being someone you can respect!!! And who's respect does he have?

First of all AAU and any school ball is different. Secondly this is not middle school. Great they accomplished whatever in middle school. They play 3aaa basketball and arent even competitive. Honestly no we do not have the talent. Halls had way more talent then our 7 kids that didnt show up. Oak Ridge does, Bearden, Farragut, no way they have the same amount of talent as the elite. Yes a coach should motivate some, but should you have to get motivated to play a district opponent or heck even a home game, no way. That is the player and their lack of focus and intensity.

If that's what you think a coaches job is you are in serious trouble. His job is to help kids reach their potential by teaching, motivating, and winning. Now which of these has Pierce done? As I said these kids are going backwards not forwards. And why is evryoine dissmissing the fact that he picks on kids on the team that my have an opinion. that is the only reason this parent got involved, because a bully picked on my child, a bully who is in authority, the worse kind.

First of all what do you mean by picking on? If you as a player cannot get motivated you need to be at the rec center. It is hard to win with talent that done great in middle school. Does Pierce miss the jumpers, not box out, miss free throws, and lazy on defense? ?

First of all these are sophomores....playing seniors! Give them 2 more years and the right coach and then we will see!!! It's not all about right this minute..by the time they are seniors they can dominate! And I have watched them play for years...and I've seen hundreds of games...and yes they have the talent and they WILL be at the top by the time they are seniors!!! So compare when a comparison can be made.
