Well I wish that one group would have stuck around and tried to change it, instead they quit.

It is also good to know we have a burn referee (brucepearlforpres) out there!!! I'm glad someone is qualified for that position! Years of practice my friend. Knowledge only comes with experience.

I just cant see it that way. Hey zook, it is like this, those boys had a way of playing the game. Fast paced, in your face, running the floor, score quickly and often. In the past, by the time the fourth quarter came most teams were glad it was almost over and they could chug a gatorade. Pierce wouldn't let them play their game. It is like taking a horse that loves to run and making it gallop or trot, you kill the will. If nothing happens from this CC bball has lost some very talented players.

getting a little personal on Kermit there aren't ya peeb..............just what are you trying to say, that working at walmart is a disgrace? pretty low if you ask me! not really...I speak to him evey time I see him at Wally world...lord knows I have worked places alot more "demeaning" than wally world...I was just trying to point out that he might have been a good b-ball player but that doesnt qualify him to be coaching material or to judge someone about a job that he possibly doesnt understand...everyone who has played teh game is not an expert coach or coaching material...and then every one who coaches successfully wasnt necessarily a great player... sorry if anyone else construed it otherwise,,,

I just cant see it that way. to quit is to quit... quit: to depart from or out of; to bring to an end; to stop; to give up for good; to admit defeat; to surrender; to make full payment of (to quit a debt); aquiy (the youths quit thenselves, like adults) quitter: one that quits; esp: one that gives up too easily. the above are quotes from Websters School Dictionary. there is an old coaching cliche that goes like this: "A winner never quits and a quitter never wins." the mood about this situation at CCHS (at least in my area of the building---not even being discussed today by faculty or students...life goes on at CCHS... play ball!!!

I guess they will move onto the next level like most former CCHS players---to the rec leagues...that is where you will find all the old cougars or days gone by...

As a previous SEC Scholarship Athlete one thing all student - athletes need to learn is the coach is the boss! As a parent it is impossible to see your children as others see them. We as parents are biased; however, we need leave the coaching responsibilites to the coach. If you don't like the coach don't let your child try out! Step back and take a look - parent's who have you really hurt? Your children!!!!! How many of these athletes are going to play after high school? Why ruin the best time of their life? well stated... what sec school and what type of scholly and when just curious...
