brucepearl4pres.... sorry, but pierce isn't going anywhere at the end of the year unless he chooses to .... just the cold hard facts ... and you do have some very valid comments ... remember though ... the team we HAD was young and it really is hard to play against seniors. alot of what you say has something to it .... maybe pierce will try it .... maybe it'll work and maybe not .... we can keep our hopes up have you ever wondered if there is just a curse on campbell county sports?? i mean honestly, look at ALL the sports ... the winning seasons are few and far between, AND if you do compare football to basketball, basketball has had more winning seasons than football in the history of CCHS ... that's including ALL coaches.

Its Dewayne, and that man is here for life after sending the school to the State playoffs. You must have your hands in this squad pretty deep if you think this great of the team. When you have the greatest player in the history of CC basketball (Kermit Marlow) saying that the guy didnt know wht the heck he was doing, I think its pretty safe to say that he doesnt knwo what he is doing. kermit marlow... a pretty darn good b-ballplayer...and he has accomplished what with his life so far after HS B-Ball? I saw him at walmart pushing buggies from the parking lot back inside... I had him in class one summer...guess who never came to class more thatn once a week... ps I was there every day to check roll...the other students thought he would pass because he palyed B-_Ball...guess who got an "F"!!!

i agree with peeblee .... there is obviously NOTHING wrong with having an honest job at Walmart... I speak to Kermit everytime I see him there. Actually, one of our last conversations was about how much he missed his days with Pierce, yep... PIERCE. He certainly didn't think Pierce needed to go anywhere. The point is, there is life after high school basketball.

As a previous SEC Scholarship Athlete one thing all student - athletes need to learn is the coach is the boss! As a parent it is impossible to see your children as others see them. We as parents are biased; however, we need leave the coaching responsibilites to the coach. If you don't like the coach don't let your child try out! Step back and take a look - parent's who have you really hurt? Your children!!!!! How many of these athletes are going to play after high school? Why ruin the best time of their life?

It is good to see all the "pierce pep club" out in force, but please do not try to make it appear he has this sudden rousing support around town and in the hallways. 90% of the community has had enough of his attitude toward players, and parents. He sets no example I want my child to follow and/or look up to. There is more to the outrage than just wins and losses. I do not think the "pep club" is reading all the posts. Surely we ail want the best seasons and most wins, but this issue goes much deeper than just that. It has just came to a head based on his inability to get the most of the talent at hand and the fact he can not gain the respect necessary to field a team that would run through a wall for him past players would do for others.
I am glad the "pep club" is supportive of pierce it must mean they had a good time but as I recall those were all losing seasons which is now accepted as a norm here.
The "expert" on all the issues here, playgame12 is working hard to suggest everyone loves him has just about ran that into the ground. I also do not like the trashing of several kids who just want the best from an administration who will not provide it for them. Seale`s concern is not nor has ever been the students. His interests lies within himself. The coach has to be "his man" whether it is the BEST MAN or not. The kids and the parents know this, they have dealt with him for several years.
No coach would act like pierce in a situation with a real principal who looked out for the kids. How long would pierce last in Knoxville, about one game, or until the first parent asked to have a conversation with him.
Again, you all (pierce pep club) have a right to support him, and I am truly glad he has some, because all the wonderful support that has been mentioned on here the last day or so is hard for me to find out on the street. In fact I have meet no one yet.

"where do u think you ranked with former laf & jack teams"
We wouldnt have got blown out by any teams I dont think...could be wrong though.....we had a pretty solid club....3 of the 5 went to play a D1 sport....Mykail Vibbert- UNC Asheville, basketball....Jake Heatherly...Tn Tech, Golf...James Jones Tn, track....they might all not have went and played basketball but thats a pretty good stat to have! Name your top Jacksboro teams?
