No BBmama...the board etc. wants Pierce to step down, or Seale to recomend a change...neither will happen. If the board moves to replace Pierce then they will set themselves up for a lawsuit. The recomendation has to come from Mr. Seale, and I do not think that will happen. Those kids' season is over. AMEN!!!! |

Why don't we all let the coach be the coach, the parents be the parents and by all means the preachers be the preachers!!!! Then maybe the kids could have some fun and play the game ... it's really hard for a team to win when they can't listen to their coach because they are being "coached" in all different directions. If parents wanted to coach and thought they could do better than Pierce, then by ALL MEANS ... go back to school, get your degree and apply for the job. Otherwise, let Pierce do his.

I use to coach and i loved being the hated one. And i agree with redhound about the the provens era. they did have talent. and talent won them a bunch of ballgames. and the hunley teams also won a bunch of ballgames on talent. but they didn't quit. they showed up for practice every day and played the games just like the they were suppose to. hey, until they make a change i say put your pride aside and play for the love of the game and your classmates.

It's this simple, Campbell County Basketball has developed more support in the last 24 hours than I have seen since the late 80's. The boys, their parents and a certain few school board members and central office staff messed up. What they did is start a fire underneath our NEW basketball team, the MAJORITY of the students, teachers and administrators as well as the general public. Everone I have talked to is ready to deck out in the orange and blue and head out to support this new team as well as their coach with all they have! This will end up being the best season yet. GO COUGARS!!!!!!!!!

Is there anyone out there who remembers the days when businesses shut down early on Tuesdays and Fridays, when you had to be at the CCHS gym by 5:00 just to get a seat, when cars parked down the 4-lane and you had to walk a mile just to get in the building?? Oh yeah, those were the days ... and I just have this feeling that those days will be coming again ... as a matter of fact, may just be right around the corner.

i have coached some of the boys who will be playing friday night. one thing i "know" about them is they love the game and will play with that blood sweat and tears that was mentioned. just like last night.

Zooker .... hope to see you there Friday and I really look forward to seeing you at the next home game Jan 5, that is if I will be able to find you in the big crowd ..... did you see the support our players had Tuesday night? Did you see the determination of some fine young men you stood up and played their hearts out??? All I know is I am really proud of this team, and of their coach.
