Im going to go ahead and say, Len Pierce keeps his job. Going out on a limb yes, but give him a shot with players that will play hard for HIM. Maybe until Christmas break but that is about it cause the heat is not on simmer any more it is on power boil. Who knows maybe Rick is on the way back in.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think that pretty much sums it up owlsqbmama. And that also goes for some assistant coaches, that are there just because the get a supplement. If this county really cared about athletics, which it does not, something would have been done 3-4 years ago

But does the county, he is the best we can get, so people need to deal with it. He is here and we need to except that.

That is true, but he should be able to take these suggestions with a grain of salt. No reason to tell the kids to tell there parents that they could kiss his. . . you knwo the story. His behavior and statements ever since the first encounter have been totally out of line, and I think its finally starting to come to a head. It really is a shame that a coach that had so much sucess earlier in his career is being forced out like this, but unfortunately, it looks like that is what needs to happen.

Think about it, Fire Pierce who comes in and saves the program with so much talent? ??/ Nobody wants it cause terrible pay, and who wants to come where parents are always on ur back, leave him alone and let him do his job.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last season I saw along with others, a team that could play with teams, but in the 4th quarter decisions such as holding the ball effected the outcomes. It is not only last season its been since I can remember. Other coaches adapt to the game, I have not seen a change in style since the Rick Hunley days of CC basketball.

Reliable sources have told me that Blevins told a parent to at least one of the players that if they boycotted this game, then Pierce would be forced to resign, and Hunley would take the reigns. Now, how true that is, I dont know, I think our guest would be able to tell us more about that. I personally dont see Hunley coming back. I dont think he really has the time to coach. Blevins track record doesnt really do anything but show she hardly ever stands by her word either. I would like to know from someone a little closer to the situation about how much of this is true.

Using a example with another kid just to make sure I am not just alluding to one. A freshman was playing a year ago and wasn't getting much playing time and was having trouble. After a scrimmage he hardly played in he was frustrated because he was not clear on what the coach wanted from him. The mother (bad person) went in the gym to pick up her son and seen he was slightly upset. She asked why? and he said he needed to work on some things. She said she would get someone to work with him and they both went to ask the coach (Len) what he needed to work on. Everybody, other parents were around. Mother asked could I talk to you a minute about my son. He said no, I did not talk to parents about their kids.. It is my way or the highway. Who was being dissrespectful there? In fornt of the other players and parents. He never apologized. The kid kept playing though.. He quit his sophomore year. Many more stories as equally riviting as this one the last two years.

Listen arguably the best team in CC history had a father on it who was a doctor. He tried to influence Pierces philosophy and Pierce said"baby you do the doctorin and Ill do the coaching." So if I was Pierce I wouldnt have said those exact words, but no I do not blame him, they are not coaching for a reason.

Zook, lets be honest, with the talent that was on that team, I think you could have had a blind Chimpanzee coaching that team and they would have been just as good.

I AM NOT SAYING LEN PIERCE IS PERFECT. I THINK HE IS BEING RAN OUT OF TOWN IN A BAD WAY. WHY ALL OF THIS HE IS A TERRIBLE MAN, IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE WAY HE DOES THINGS, THEN DONT LET YOUR KID PLAY, OR TAKE HIM SOMEWHERE ELSE.
