TEAM is not doing what the coach says. Coach is part of the TEAM. Not just an individual. In what part of this was the Coach being a TEAM player. Did he listen and respect in return? Did he work as hard as they did? Was he there when they were sweating this summer in the hot gym? by the way Preston Young is not someone I would be telling that he doesn't life weights well. The kid just turned 15 and he is a massive monster. He is what they always called the message sender on the team.

That may be true, but the same thing happened with Cory C. though. I know the first encounter with who your thinking of though wasnt over him stepping down, it was over philosophy during the AE game.

Why should a coach have to ask for respect first of all? And once again I am judging the overall and you point out a specific player!!!!

A coach doesn't ask for respect he earns it. And as a coach that was gone a long time ago. And how can you respect a coach that can't coach you to win a game? And respect goes both ways!!!

I really didnt wasntin meaning to point T.A. out. From what I have heard from multiple people about multiple players, anyone who voices their opinion in a negative manner about Peirce, can expect to see their playing time dimenish.

First of all players make plays to win games. I have yet to see one coach make a game winning 3 pointer.

Why would a player talk bad about a coach in the first place, no respect. I dont understand why they would even want to talk bad about their coach.

the change I am alluring to is that maybe some eyes will open and the coach and admin will realize this is for the kids. They are who count. They are who are playing. using kids as grudges is just the same old good ol boy backstratching this county has endured for a long time. the Admin HAS to back it's coaches, but not at the welfare of the kids. The admins, and coach first responsibility is to the kids, their welfare. Not to be used as tools.
Mike left because he had no choice. He quietly told Len that they had 2 different visions and that what he was teaching the kids about ball was in direct conflict with what Len was teaching and that he was in the way. At the AE gaem a kid stole the ball at the top of the key, went down the floor in a one on one situation where he was ahead. Paul Green yells out at said kid to slow down. The kid listens to coach, stumbles slightly, passes ball before a walk behind him, defender gets pass make a layup. Said kid was pulled off floor for one turnover (36 TO in first half without said kid) and benched. Mike got on to said kid and told him to never back off in a one on one easy layup situation and realized he had just contradicted Green as a coach on the bench.. He was causing these kids to get in trouble for his style of play.

THANK YOU OWLSBBMAMA! I think the issue here is that Pierce has done so many things to these guys, and Im not going to speculate on anything other than what I know has happened, and that is benching multiple players because those players parents tried talking to him, that they have no respect for him.
And I read where someone questioned their weight lifting, as far as that goes almost all 7 played football, granted that is a different sport and different fitness, but the strength is the same, I dont really think you can call that into question.

Im going to go ahead and say, Len Pierce keeps his job. Going out on a limb yes, but give him a shot with players that will play hard for HIM.

I dont think the players were talking bad about the coach. Sorry for not making that clear that was my fault. I meant that when the players' parents had something to say in a negative way, not necessarily taking bad about Pierce, but maybe disagreeing with his decisions, well then that player would be benched because of the expressions of their parent.
