Well lmscoachqb2,sounds like you should go back and read your WHOLE comment.Everything is directing to your kid, your kid, your kid.Why dont you talk about what YOUR KID can do WITH the team instead of complaining what he can do and is not getting to do???

I didn't say anything about what my kid has done other than get cut last year and is in football shape instead of BBall shape but that is changing. We'll just ride this one out and see where it lands in the end. Other than that I will be content to let you all have at it because it is funny to read these comments.

This is in response to owlsBBmama and lmscoachqb2 For one thing, no one is hiding behind a name. No I am not dumb, I just can't seem to get the registration form to work, keeps saying wrong form filled out. Haven't figured that one out yet. Also, can't believe that you would be saying things about people's grammar. You know how it is when your blood pressure is boiling. You may misspell a word. Another thing, i am pretty sick of hearing, the more senior kids, the ones with more experience, should be playing all the time. Most, but not all, of the 7th grade kids have played for many years also, plus they gave every week and weekend for the last 8 months of this year, many without vacations, to be better prepared for the upcoming year. What makes you think the senior (or older) kids are better than they are? Just wondering!!!!!! No, my child is not a starter, he sits on the bench quite a bit. But no, I don't think the older or more senior kids should take his time away when they haven't put the time into this as he has. (He is one of the substitutions you evidently were talking about). Don't get me wrong, I think everyone deserves playing time and they should get their time too. Anyway, does anyone have any comments about the Junior Varsity team? ??

Excuse me...are you talking to me? I haven't said anything bout any body's grammar! Or bout you in general...not seen you here before..unless you keep changing your name! Let's get one thing out on the table so alllll will know what the deal is! My son...(had to say it)...sorry fox...anyway has been playing football alll football season. And Mr. Heatherly..you know the one that makes the decisions at the school... him and Coach Rutherford would not allow the football players to participate in basketball until football was over! Now are you putting the football players down because they made history at LMS this year??? Should they have just lost a few and cut the season short so they could make you happy? Just want to add one thing...and the end of football season.... last year...they got a few weeks off and then work outs begin for the next year! All summer guess what? Yep...workouts!!!! So don't be trying to tell me that just because they were at football instead of basketball...that they don't deserve credit!!!! And that would be all the football players that play basketball now!!!!! NOT just mine!!!

hey owlsbbmama, i realize that it gets frustrating to have to spell out every single detail to some people. And no, I'm not talking to a specific individual!! But don't let them get too much under your skin, you are much more intelligent than that.

Anyway, does anyone have any comments about the Junior Varsity team? ?? #1...the site administrator may be able to help you with that. #2...More senior players most of the time will provide better results in crucial situations. That is true for all sports!!! It doesn't matter whether it is at LMS, CCHS or college sports. I am sure that you will feel differently about this next year when yours is an eighth grader!! Playing time can not be an issue, when you are at the varsity level it is about 1 thing....... [glow=red,2,300]WINNING!!![/glow] #3...The purpose to having a JV team is to provide inexperienced players the necessary playing time that will lead to helping the varsity team.

It's the sabbath lets all be nice. I just thought of a good hypothetical situtaion to sum things up for lmsmamma and lmscoach I guess even though the colts are undefeated there is some mom and pop duo in the stands complaing that there precious child didnt get to play enough. IF IT AIN'T BROKE DONT FIX IT. Your son is probably in there working hard at practice and when he deserves it he will play. The coaches are coaching to win. They cant worry themselves with how big of a star he was in the past "the go to go" they simply have to award playing time by effort AND whatever is neccassary to win the game. Nevertheless I'm going to try to quit responding to the whinning and complaining, because I hate to be apart of something that the players themselves can come on here and read. I would be embarrased to get on here and see my parents acting like this over playing time when my team was 3-0. Go OWLS
Also, I retract my statements about playing three great teams. But they were good teams and big district wins. Be happy.

It is an absolute fact that the players do read this discussion board, even at school.
So everyone needs to take a step back and think before you type. Your child, or someone's child you know, is reading this or will be come Monday.
