and another thing...................I have no reason to LIE..........and I dont appreciate being called a liar...........YOU are the one telling things that did not happen! Fact 1: Dotson's cousin who has a son on the team who is starting went to the school board and pulled a few (yes more than one) strings so that Dotson could keep his job. Fact 2: Current principal was going to coach the team. He has more than a proven track record from the coaching stand point and could make a good team better. Fact 3: My son was cut from the team last year because of who he had as a friend. This year he was asked by Dotson to play. Players who made the team last year were cut this year. After a year lay-off my son was better than those kids who didn't make it this year. Says alot about current coach. Fact 4: I will continue to say what I want when I want because none of you sign any paycheck of mine. I am very easy to find at most games and am open for conversation, please come and humor me. Re: Fact 1. - He is his uncle not his cousin. Fact 3. I really don't understand that analogy. Who in the world made the team last year, but got cut this year. I don't know of anyone. You know I don't agree with everything he does either. Most of our kids don't get alot of playing time on this team. (The playing time we think they deserve), but what do you do when you have 12 kids or more on the team and you try to give them all some- playing time and your 8-0.............

I know of one for sure but am not going to mention name. As far as fact 1 goes, now said coach is scared to do the right thing because what was given can be taken just as easy. I don't know about yours but mine was denied the opportunity to play JV last year. There are five eighth graders on the team and the rest are seventh. Putting a kid in for 30 seconds is close to being humiliating. With the lead that has existed in most games, not all but most, the bench players could have played alot more if they were platooned in the proper manner. They big wins could be used to better develop next years team. What is funny though is the fact that I haven't posted in a while and mine played two and a half quarters last night, maybe it was the fact that I wasn't in attendance. In my situation Dotson has the ability to do the right thing but is reluctant to do it.

I seriously don't think anything will be taken away. How can you with a winning season. (Also heard it wouldn't)... By the way, what do you think about the seventh graders as a team. How do you think they stack up for next year? Just would like your opinion. Putting a kid in for 30 seconds is close to being humiliating. Hard to say. I personally don't think that they are being used the way they need to be. I have my own opinion but don't feel like opening that can of worms. Would be more than happy to discuss that in person and save the nice guests on board the trouble.

Paul Green tok his last girls team at CCHS to the substate, was named coach of the year and then was replaced by sherry chapman (both of whom are friends of mine)... so winning doesnt always equal job security!!!

This is why I do not think they will be very successfull in the long run...team division...if parents have a problem then it will translate into the players...I hope not, but it looks like this. Sounds like some are more worried about individual glory rather than team accomplishment. If I am not mistaken isn't LMS undefeated thus far. It is definitely not individual glory but rather a fair shake and not letting ones political pull (money) determine who and who does not play. Boy, you said a mouthful there lmscoach. One thing I don't have is money or political pull, so I guess my son will just waste away at the end of the bench for the first time in his career. Sad thing is, he didn't do anything to deserve it!

Well, you know what....I can assure you...that he STILL can play ball! Sports is in his blood....we have been asked by other counties (plural) to transfer him for basketball and football. I'm not stupid....like I said a few times now...I HAVE coached for about 10 years now. I do know how to play basketball!!! And if he wasn't any good I think I might know!!! Everybody keeps say about my sons playing time....if you all would read my posts before you comment....you would know it is much deeper than playing time!!! So EVERYONE get off the playing TIME!!!!! And one more thing.... I don't recall saying he was the best player in elem. school!! then take him to won of those other counties (plural) I'm sure they're all 8-0 Well guest, if it were that easy that is exactly what would happen. Since we are not loaded and there isn't a local bus that runs that far away it is virtually impossible.
