Like I said, I DIDN"T say he was the best......and right now I coach no where because I have 16 month old twins if that is okay with you! But I have coached at Valley View Elem.....Jr.Pro and AAU...boys and girls!!! Not that I needed to tell you that...is it because I'm not male that you think I don't know what I'm talking about??? |

yeah i am sexist... I gues my name MIGHTY MAN gave me away. lol I have not been to a LMS game but out of curiosity who is your son? & no disrespect but coaching elementary ball is a little different I know because I have played & coached several different sports in all levels. The one thing that holds constant is that every time you step up a level the coaching get more in depth.

I just said, I know how to play basketball! So that makes no difference where I coached. If you haven't even been to a LMS game...why does it matter to you?  |

because I have a child that plays at east lafollette so he will be going there. Maybe you should take pierces place & bump your son up to the high school & you & him can lead cchs back to glory!!

I don't know why you think that was called for. I am a member here have been for a while now...you are...well, no one knows!! I never said I was wanting to coach anywhere....or that my son was Michael Jordon....so you haven't got a clue...so back off!!! |

I don't know if I would say it was a "good Clinton squad" or not, no offense there beardencoach. Their best player was suspended for the game because he got in trouble at school. The talent level at LMS is pretty far ahead of the other teams in the district. Did see 5 senior players together in the 4th that worked really well together though. Just the difference in the lack of turnovers during that time was a change. "You've gotta be kidding me." You won't even let someone say something good about the team , (or the kids that are not senior players), without having something bad to say. My gosh, we won 69-53.... what else do you want. It's all about the senior players---- yea we've heard it alot. I seriously wish Coach Dotson would one game only play the senior players and just see how good they do. I am not saying the senior players shouldn't play, they deserve to play as much as anyone, but would you give it a break, the 7th graders have alot of talent and have played together for almost 2 years, all summer long, (yours could have played also, but chose not to). This is a team, not 8th graders vs. 7th graders. It should be treated as a team. One other thing, LaFollette scored 25 pts in the first quarter without all 5 senior players.......... If you were watching the Clinton game Lucas came out like a man on fire and was responsible for about half of those 25. |

This is why I do not think they will be very successfull in the long run...team division...if parents have a problem then it will translate into the players...I hope not, but it looks like this. Sounds like some are more worried about individual glory rather than team accomplishment. If I am not mistaken isn't LMS undefeated thus far. It is definitely not individual glory but rather a fair shake and not letting ones political pull (money) determine who and who does not play. |

and another thing...................I have no reason to LIE..........and I dont appreciate being called a liar...........YOU are the one telling things that did not happen! Fact 1: Dotson's cousin who has a son on the team who is starting went to the school board and pulled a few (yes more than one) strings so that Dotson could keep his job. Fact 2: Current principal was going to coach the team. He has more than a proven track record from the coaching stand point and could make a good team better. Fact 3: My son was cut from the team last year because of who he had as a friend. This year he was asked by Dotson to play. Players who made the team last year were cut this year. After a year lay-off my son was better than those kids who didn't make it this year. Says alot about current coach. Fact 4: I will continue to say what I want when I want because none of you sign any paycheck of mine. I am very easy to find at most games and am open for conversation, please come and humor me. |
