I was against Pierce until i got 2 the game tuesday.Then I seen how much heart was being showed by the 6 players and the coaching staff.

Because having 5 wins every year just isnt acceptable. You get a guy that can get 20 on a consistent basis, and I wont care one thing about what the players think, you know that the coach is doing something right.

There is not one coach who can win 20 games up there this year. Sorry it just would not happen.

brucepearl4pres... obviously you weren't at cchs today if you think only a select few were against the boys actions ... were you even at the game last night .... i haven't heard one soul other than yourself say that the boys were right in what they did or how they did it ... as a matter of fact i have personally talked to one of the boys who wished they had never even went to the "meeting" and said they sure wish they could replay the last 48 hours ...... trust me, these boys who are playing now will be getting a tremendous amount of support .. you may not see it by this Friday, but my suggestion is to keep your eyes open at least until the next home game in January

i have coached with the man, and he is not stupid. he knows the game, now granted he might be a little old school ,but knows the game. i have talked with him and he has a fire lit under him. and like i told him now he has 10 players who really want to support their community and school. now lets support them!!!

brucepearl4pres , who knows ... maybe athletics is cursed in campbell county .... your right, 5 games may not be acceptable but how often in history has our football team won 5, or4, or 3
or even 2 for that matter ..... i didn't check this site out during football season but am curious, did everyone want to hang duane wells?

I talked to all 7 today. They were content in there actions. I talked to quite a few from the senior class at CCHS about what they thought. I never said that I agreed 100% with the actions of these kids. I stated that I think they did the right thing at the wrong time. You will be lucky to pick up more than 2 wins before your next home game. Stop putting words in my mouth and trying to paint a pretty picture on a trash mound. Things are getting ugly at CC quick, and you cant deny that fact. This isnt over just because there are 10 players now. I know there is alot of support for Peirce, but I know that people realize why things happened. Anything else you want me to cover?

Its Dewayne, and that man is here for life after sending the school to the State playoffs. You must have your hands in this squad pretty deep if you think this great of the team. When you have the greatest player in the history of CC basketball (Kermit Marlow) saying that the guy didnt know wht the heck he was doing, I think its pretty safe to say that he doesnt knwo what he is doing.

Things were ugly to begin with....it isn't like we were winning with the players that quit! Now we are 100% That these players will give everything they have!!!
