Just curious what is your most memorable sports moment, that has happened either at CC or involving a CC team?

Im going to go with the upset of Jefferson County when they were number one in the state in 2001, Coach Wells' first year, pouring rain, never will forget that one.

That just happens to be mine too. I scored the winning touchdown, and Tad kicked the Pat to give us the 21-20 victory. That is certainly my favorite sports memory of all time.

I have to say it is the "basketbrawl" way back in the day between Karns and CC. I'll never forget that

I liked the brawl...My dad has it on tape somewhere. The best for me would have been the Cherokee game in 1999. Campbell County was on a 27 game losing streak and was down 20-7 late in the 4th. We got the ball back drove down and scored, then as memory serves we didn't get the onside, but caused a fumble with seconds left. Justin Price hit Anthony Douglas for the game-tying TD and Bill Rutherford kicked the PAT for the deciding margin. Another 21-20 game for a big win.

The one game that sticks out in my mind is I believe the 96 JMS vs. LMS game. LaFollette was undefeated and beat Jacksboro by 1. I believe Claude Jeffers missed a freethrow to tie it with no time left! LaFollette finished the yr unbeaten!

I remember my sophmore year in baseball when we beat Halls at our plays and they went on to be runner up in State only losing to Farraguht. And I also remember when we was playing baseketball at West you know the game Bruce Peral got kicked out hah we took it to over time but couldnt hold of West in OT

I believe he had two shots andcould have tied it then won it but missed both shots if memory serves.

Yup, your right...it was a great game! That's when middle school basketball was pretty big. It seems it has died off in the past 6 or 7 yrs.
