You know I think they were 7th graders but I could be wrong. I am just now learning alot of the athletes again since I took a year off from sports when the Times closed. They are good players and if they are 8th graders will be excellent additions to the high school team.

The Begley kid at JMS is really good too, I had forgotten about him. He has a great attitude, is very coachable, and has a great work ethic. If he stays in CC he will be a good player. I don't think he'll be a lineman in HS though.

I dont know what lms game u were watching, but when North Anderson played LMS. If LMS didnt have Reid they didnt have a shot. Tanner had over 100 passing yards and 2 TDs. I never saw 3 qbs in the game. I think he has a great shot of beating out keenan. Just because AC doesnt want him a as a qb doesnt mean wells wouldnt want him. From my understanding, AC has two real good qbs. They dont need another one.

From my understanding, AC has two real good qbs. They dont need another one. I think your crazy for a lack of a better word. I have it on video....I didn't want to get dirty but I can! His own coach said that if he knew he sucked as bad as he did at qb he would have never played him there. That is why AC doesn't want him! Yes, they do have 2 qb's already...but they didn't even consider him! He did get put out the second quarter. And they did use 3 qb's because the first 2 were put out! There were 2 td's thrown behind the line of scrimmage which were screen passes, my 8 yr. old can do that! The score was 34-12.....Keenan had 14 and Reid had 20. If it wasn't for David Mabe they would have been shut out! I don't want to take anything away from Reid because he's a great player and is Keenan's sidekick. But if you add up the score...Keenan scored more than North Anderson himself. So the put down on Keenan about without Reid........(take a math class!) *And what are you talking about not having a shot ....like North Anderson was a big feat....it was one of their easier games! (SCOREBOARD)Mabe was their only threat. It took them the first half to figure out how to stop Mabe but once they did.....it was easy sailing. Like I said before Keenan had a record number of sacks.....with 10. So he was in 1 of the 3 qb's face ALL night!

whar about luke from lafollee with his size he could be great he he would just apply his self I have gotten to know this kid a little. I do not think he will amount to a whole lot at the high school level. Too soft mentally and physically. It is easy to push around people smaller than you. The high school game is much different. He is also not willing to accept criticism, play consistent defense, or show that he has the right attitude to be coached. It is hard to get better when you already know it all.

I have a question.....dwayn25....and ....pricefan4.
Are you the same person or are you twins?
I notice you both have the same birthday and the same age. And for some reason you both are all for this Tanner kid from Norris. And down on Keenan. Seems both of you have some ties to AC.... And you know or think you know a whole lot about AC........
Hmmm.....seems fishy to me! Or just plain funny!

Here is a name to remember from laFollette in the coming years. Jordan Teague. He looked pretty good at running back in the JMS v. LMS jv game.

It seems we are looking a lot at middle school players coming up .. as we should be, but don't overlook this year's sophmores. From what I have seen in football, Sean Morris is a heck of a blocker. I just wonder who our new star running back will be that he will open things up for .. from what I have seen, Reid Sharp looks like the go to guy .. it will be interesting to see what he does over the summer. That could tell the tale . Owls Vixen makes a very good argument for the quarter back position. Could it be that Wells already has a mind set on who he wants without other possibilities and will Wells be coaching this upcoming season? You know those rumors .... Basketball should prove very interesting as well .. from what I have seen, we will have some freshman from LMS that can more than hang with the boys who skipped out on the team this year ... if that is the case, wonder if it will just cause more controversy? I say play the best kid .. regardless of grade ... this is no longer jr pro but competitive high school basketball.... it also looks as if girls basketball will have a number of individuals with star potential on the rise. Should be a few interesting years ahead. And back to the running back position... Jordan Teague IS something to think about ... it doesn't look as if campbell county has any upper-classmen running backs for next year so i'm looking for a freshman to show some stuff... if that is the case ... watch out 3 years from now ... talent and experience.. whew! oh, what about tyler ambergy .. still playing a running back position? can't over look him either.

I am not for sure but amber young may as well be a 7th grader not positive but alot of the 7th graders from both schools have alot of talent. The two courtneys will be good assets to the highschool when they get to there freshman year plus the post players from each school....jms: emili griffith and maria foust, lms: shayla goins and kristen chapman all of them should be interesting. but really these 8th graders you have mentioned , they don't seem to get that much action in the games is it just the 7th graders with the load of talent for the highschool in the upcoming years?

Hmmm.....seems fishy to me! Or just plain funny! That is a great conspiracy theory. Why is it that you seem to think everyone is against you and your family...this is nonsense. What those two said is opinion and it is like rear-ends...everyone has one. The twins with AC connections are certainly older than 21, so it isn't them. They were also born in a different month than the two members you are having a spat with. Furthermore I know for fact that the only contact they have with this board is what people tell them...they have more class than to talk negatively about middle school kids. So rest at ease it is not them. For any fan, parent, player, or coach to predetermine what position Jimmy or Joe will play in high school before he even puts on the uniform is fool-hardy and sets up a player for disappointment if he doesn't play a certain position etc. I think we should leave it at player x is a good athlete and HAS A CHANCE to become a very good player at the high school level. We all know how hard the transition CAN be so we should not compound those difficulties by adding un-needed expectations to teenagers. I wish kids nothing but the best, but it would be much better for all the outside pressure to ease off them. Hopefully they all do well and see success at the next level.

I thought you couldnt get any dumber and u surpass it owl vixen. One pass was a throw across the middle for a TD. Ok AE2 proved u were out of ur league on the whole Lady Vol deal (which I personally thought was great.) Then on top of that you said Chris Johnson was offered acholarship from Auburn? Then when we said no, you said you read it and then when you found out that he didn't, you said your son told you wrong. Right there we proved you lie. On top of that, i dont care if you have the video or not, i was there. Only one in his face all night was the big guy on the end. Im not taking anything away from Keenan. I think he is a good player. How you talk u would think he was the greatest LMS has ever seen. Which is not the case. Like I said im not takin ne thing away from him and i know it takes a TEAM effort, but without Reid, you have another losing season. Still dont get where you get 10 sacks. I even asked some other people that was at the game about the whole sack issue and they also think u r crazy. Do you even know what a sack is? The QB actually has to have the ball. I never said Williams was ever better than Keenan. I just said I think he would be the next QB if he comes here. Thats all. Like I said before Keenan is a good player, who knows he could be a Jared Lorenzen (which I didnt think was that good, but I guess he was good enough to play D-1).I just think Tanner would be a better fit if he gets a little bit taller.
