Well thanks coach...I was being very objective...I thought. The good Lord knows I don't have a "red" dog in that fight...Corbin would beat em both by 40...hahaha, and they're having a down/young year.

they nevwer bewat us when we were at jackasboro... not even once... we scrimmaged them once when we were at CC and it was one of the heardeswt hitting scrimmages I have ever been associated with... of course everyone knows (at least everyone who knows anything about high school football scrimmages) that no one actually wins a scrimage... it was a close scrimmage until the end when we ran 10 plays each from the goal line... we scored 10 times... corbin ran three plays and got on the bus... no one actuallywins a scrimmage but we sure did feel good about ourselves... then the seaon started and we won two games...LOL

I'll just go ahead and tell ya this CC team isn't even close to any that you coached...bottom line. You always had huge, tough offensive lines and a good running back. Casey Tackett and Daniel Berry come to mind. That was a time when East TN football was a juggernaut. It seems to have fallen off some. I mean looks at some of those guys you coached...Longmire was an animal at DE, Vanover was a very good OL, and of course we don't need to mention Casey and Daniel's ability, Will Overton, Michael Green...heck we could go on for an hour about the talent pool. It just shows how good teams were in the past, but the competition was stellar.
Also coach a lot of people never beat Jacksboro when you were there. I know what you mean about scrimmages...trust me, it'd be nasty today and especially when I played but that is beside the point.
