Oh I agree. It is pretty bad on the HS level too.

The Lms Jms football game I actually saw a parent run across the field, hilarious, but yet very disturbing.

Oh that was a particularly bad incident. I kept expecting that to turn out badly for him.

He is luck he didn't get form tackled by a coach on the JMS sideline...I do not know if he is even a parent...what I do know is the LMS coaching staff allowed him on the sideline with them...he acted like a fool, and should have been arrested. There was over a minute left in the game when this incident occured...with today's atmosphere who knows what his intentions were...he also crossed through the JMS sideline and players. I honestly thought it was a person with a mental disability so I thought little of it, but when I found out better I was stunned especially realizing who it actually was and his civic position!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was on the pressbox, in communication with the LMS sideline. They had no idea how he was acting and definitely no idea he was going to do that

Good because I have a ton of respect for Coach Rutherford.

I know there is no way the LMS staff had anything to do with that, I have talked to pretty much all of them about the incident and they were pretty embarassed by it. It is a prime example of a parent behaving badly.

Which raises the question...Why was a parent allowed on the sideline to begin with???

I blame that on Jacksboro's lax security and his status as a county commisioner. I did not see him on the sidelines of the two LMS playoff games I went to.

Which raises the question...Why was a parent allowed on the sideline to begin with??? They gave him a coaching shirt...so I think he had some kind of coaching duties. Not sure what they were~ Hubby can answer that.

This was not the first time that the parent at the tournment game has been thrown out. Yes he is a nice guy but he just got to caught up in the game........Redhound I like some of your comments, but like I've said you should have been at the Corbin game here, then you could have sat in our cheering section and heard some of their fans...... I talked to the person who made the sophomore comment and they said they couldn't believe that someone took them serious.

some parents have forgotten that alot of these kids know some of the players on the other team as a close friend and let me say that we as adults could learn just a little from these kids that the sun will come up tommorrow and there will be another game. sometimes we forget that the kids can have bad days too! if you forget it try going out on the floor some time and run up and down the court tuning every one out so you can focus and then the pressue of a tight game and then you mess the shot or loose the ball or God forbid throw the ball to the other team ohh!!! wait we as adults never did that when we were kids that's right we were perfect in every way its! just the rest of the world does not know it!!!!! give the kids a break the will leave the gym upset more about their parents then they were the game !!! when they make 30 mill a year then you can jump their --------!!!!! for loosing until then their just babies playing a game that right now they still love. that is until the parents start helping them improve. leave it to the coach or get started coaching yourself!!! you may find it harder than you think.
