They open week zero at Union County. They dropped Lenior City and added Powell. Wells is supposed to send me a new schedule next week.

Any word on the schedule Pat?? What does the frosh/JV schedule look like?? Furthermore any word on the team in general...I am sure Coach Wells has them in the weight-room.

I haven't talked to Wells lately. I know he has them in the wieght room though from talking to the players.
I think the JV schedule will follow right along with the varsity one. I haven't heard about the freshmen schedule yet, though as far as I know there will still be a seperate freshmen team.

I haven't had much of a chance to see Wells. I have been very wrapped up in basketball. They should have an outstanding freshman team, if they all play.

I do think we have Clinton on there...I heard it was the same schedule as last except as Pat said, we picked up Powell!

Clinton is on the rise...for sure...they were/are young, I don't know if that coach will have much more time if he doesn't win this year though.

I am suprised Shadthingy (sp?) isnt doin a little better. I thought he might get some players from AC and Oak Ridge since he is from Oak Ridge, that would help the program out! I think they have won 4 games in 3 yrs and 3 of them games have come against CC?

Well the talent before last year was very poor; he had little to work with. This Soph. class should be a good one followed by a good frosh. class, but leaning on kids that young is a huge risk in H.S.
