Generally the equation goes as thus: Adult = Maturity In this instance the equation is: Adults + CC Sport Message Boards = Immaturity.
With all of the CAPS, names, arguing, EXCLAMATION MARKS!!!!!! together, I would think that everyone was evil.
Try and Remember this. You all are interested in your local community (active), writing freely on the behalf of your beliefs (1st amendment civil liberties), and your not working out (the metacarpals of course) So everyone Agree to Disagree. Its Ok...Let us Love One Another.
Welp, its back to my milk and cornbread, dang this stuff is good! (I knowan exclamation mark, but geewhilikers, milk and cornbread)

owlsbbmama.... God judges us all INCLUDING preachers ..... if you want to have a meeting where you are encouraging children to turn their backs on their coach, teammates, school, etc., then do it at your house .. NOT THE LORD'S .... from what i understand you were not at that meeting ..... i have personally talked to two mothers and a player who was there, they all have the same story. i have also talked to a mother who at first went along and NOW wishes she hadn't ... said it may very well be the biggest parenting mistake she has made.... one of the players who wen't along with it admitted that it was peer pressure and has had a hard time with the consequences of his decision ..... as far as ceder hill and brother arnold getting all that praise for allowing the use of the church ... are u serious? ? trust me, there are a number of churches who would and will do the same! as far as you identifying zook ... what a crappy thing to do .... although you did it to the right guy, he sticks by his opinions and is man enough to stand up for what is right ... i also seriously doubt he has an ounce of fear in him or care for what anybody thinks .... zook's the man in my book! I'm not going to argue God with you.....I didn't say I was at the meeting...I haven't got a clue what was said at the meeting. My point was for everyone that doesn't know....LEAVE God out of it. He isn't on this board making claims. I know zook...I have since he was 5...and when he's in a mud slinging mood I guess he doesn't care who he hits. I'm glad you all have paired up.....friends are hard to come by.

owlsbbmama ... friends aren't all that hard to come by ... TRUE friends are. as you said yourself, you don't know what arnold did and said but it seems you have been quick to defend him .... many, including some of his church congregation just feel that preachers are usually the peacemakers and that hasn't been the case in this situation. as far as your request to leave god out of it, i have two points ..... the first is, YOU were the one who brought God into it at 12:22 today and second, as you and i both know, GOD IS IN EVERYTHING ...... thankfully He knows the actual facts about this entire situation and I feel very at ease knowing that. Honestly, and please don't take this the wrong way, I say it with heart... you obviously have a child in sports ... if your child loves the game, i truly hope they never have to face their teamates leaving them out in the cold the way the former 7 cchs players did to Cory and Johnathan ...... regardless of their feelings toward their coach they had teammates to consider too. In addition, all seven of those players knew how the year would work when they made the decision to join the team in the first place ... they simply should have toughened up and stuck it out.

You know you can't be nice to anyone on here cause everyone wants to argue. You don't have to give me any life lessons. I'm old enough.....experienced in life. You say what you want...cause you are anyway. I just hope that someday, I know as much as you do.

Player, I will put God in it. How would god feel about what Coach said to players to tell their parents. I do want an answer from you if you would be willing. What would God say about a group of boys who you know that some of them loves ball more than anything but sacrificed what they loved more than anything to hopefully get some attention for the problems that arose and the silent freshman to make things better a CC. God says we are not here to judge but to be wittnessness. Judging is his job. Psalm 143, 2 And enter not into judgement with thy servant for in thy sight shall no man living be justified. Trust me I have done my share of judging, I am in no way perfect.

playthegame012 and the others complaining about the jerseys and calling it stealing. first of all I know many a player who has "stuff" that should have been turned in. also, if there are enough old jerseys for a team then why didn't they give them to the freshman instead of cutting them because"there were not enough jerseys". Also, school owes some of those parents about $2,00 for the camps they went to in georgtown last year and this year. boy they talked with the parents then.

Ok, so after reading this I feel kinda like that masked magician guy whom everyone wanted to know the identity of because he was giving away trade secrets every thursday night on FOX a while back. So here is a little about BrucePearl4Pres.
I am named after the greatest Wide Reciever to EVER play the game, Robert Meachem. So my first name is Robert aka Robby.
Contrary to popular believe, my middle name is not Eugene, its William, which is the long hand of Willie, as in Willie Kemp, who plays for Memphis, who Tennessee beat by 20 this year.
My last name is Gross, as in Gabe Gross, who was quaterback at Auburn during the 1998 season, which is the year Tennessee won the National Championship.
I go to Cedar Hill Baptist church and while I will support my lil bro Troy (figuratively speaking, hes not my real little brother) I dont like what the guys did, I dont agree with them using the church to meet, and Im not so sure that our members supported that decision. The church really had nothiing to do with that happening, so please dont look down on the church body in anyway. Not sayin you were, but there is no reason to.
Now for my best Josh James impression, Thank you for your time.

Excellent explanation. I would expect no less than you supporting Troy. That is what friends do.
