Hey there "friends",
CCHS Cougars who have been a team for oh what 24 hours-ish .... they WON BY ONE POINT! 53 to 52.
A tv camera crew was there earlier so i guess it will be on the news tonight. I think it was CH. 8
I couldn't be more proud of these boys. They (being the school board) better not try to hurt these kids by making them leave and the old team return, like I have heard they are going to try to do.
Way to go our NEW CCHS Cougars and yes Coach Pierce!

The new Cougars are now 1-0. They are a great bunch of kids. I ave had the pleasure of coaching several of them. I am also proud of the students that came out to the game tonite.

The new cougars put egos aside played the way they were told and guess what, they won the flippin ball game against Clinton. Some may say Clinton is down, but they beat a very good powell team the other night, PLUS we beat them at CLINTON, anyone who knows about Clinton knows that is HUGE!!!!!!!!
I would personally like to thank all of they young men who put self aside and played for their school, community, and name of the front of the jerseys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even though they did not even have matching uniforms b/c the other crew hasnt turned them in yet!!!!!!!

Beating Clinton is beating Clinton. I don't care how up or down they are. I love this new crew. It is good to see Brance, Hatch, Eric White, Mikey, and Zach A. back on the court.

Tonight's game was by far the BEST I have seen all year! I am soooo proud of our new team, our coaches, our student body and our fans. Those boys really made a statement tonight!
Did anybody see WVLT sports with Rick Russo tonight??? How great was that??? AND that was just highlights!!

I saw the "Vote Minton for President" sign tonight ...... Cory baby, you have had my vote aaalllll along! I know J. Green and his parents weren't invited to the little "parent" meetings (should we wonder why ... possible conspiracy) but you and yours were. You showed character my friend! You did the right thing and there are a whole lot of people (not just in this county but all over) that are very proud of the man you have become! I'd say come college time your dedication and actions will be looked at fondly. Way to play the game tonight. I can't wait to watch you and your team play again!!
