Where did SC get the money to pay $purrier 1.75 a year? I'm interested to see where Alabama and Miami look now that hes out of the picture.

I think whoever takes over that Miami program is going to have some big headaches for a while. It's gonna have to be a coach that's big on discipline.

Bama is a lot like Tenn about keeping their coaching jobs"in the family" . I'm interested to see if they're willing to step outside of that this time and finally come to the realization that the days of the Bear are long gone.

Alabama AD Mal Moore and West Virginia coach held "informal" talks Tuesday as both were attending the 2006 National Football Foundation Awards Dinner and College Football Hall of Fame inductions, according to several media reports.
The Decatur Daily is reporting that a deal could come as early as Wednesday, while televised reports have suggested a wait of one to three days.
Rodriguez has been rumored to be high on Alabama's wish list since the school fired Mike Shula on Nov. 26.
A West Virginia alum, Rodriguez has maintained he is happy in his current job, but hasn't ruled out a change. MSN

Here is something interesting, Miami alumni and boosters have asked former QB Bernie Cozar to throw in his name into the Miami job discussion.
