Keenan had an awesome time! A week with all the guys that are friends for life now. This is something he will never forget! East Ruled! The 2nd defensive play of the East, he broke thru the line for a sack. Once they figured out that a 5`10 220 came to play they doubled teamed him the rest of the game. He still had some tackles and hurried the qb a few times causing some bad plays for the West. Overall he done his job. Very proud of him. He started as a freshmen (only 4 left that did, awesome job guys!) and finished as a senior. He didn't quit despite all the CC woes of football.
You all say it's about the kids and all I hear is who is right and who is wrong! I am not pleased to say...Not one of his coaches showed up. Not one person representing CCHS showed up. That's one of the problems here. If it's not between 8-3 it doesn't matter. We had to do some shopping as soon as we got back in town...walked right by the "athletic director" didn't say a word to him. Not that it matters but just proves my point.
Thanks for all that did support Keenan. Thanks for Dwayne Wilder for being there for the press.
If you all can't support the kids...NO ONE is going to support whoever they get to coach.

I was actually there. It was good to see a CCHS athlete do well. I actually did not get to see any regular season games but thanks to Dave Graham I saw highlights. He had a great year.

Kudos to Keenan....wish I could have been there,, I watched a small portion on TV, unfortunely it was when the Card kid got hurt..however I did see a couple plays of Keenan, he got doubled teamed-- I figured out that he was probably having a good game.. Good Luck !! to Keenan,, one of the most exciting players I've seen in history of CCHS. As a Cougar alum I'm proud of him

I really hope Keenan doesn't have to suffer for all this coach mess. These colleges that talked to him at the East-West game told him they would contact his "coach" for his info, address-number and such. Keenan didn't know at the time that he had been fired for sure. I know Coach Wells, won't be doing the banquet and he doesn't even stay in the weight room when the boys go up 7th pd. He just unlocks the door. It really makes me mad that there is no one to see Keenan thru this time when he needs guidance and a coach! I have been told by another well known coach, down the road. That Coach Wells should have started a long time ago contacting schools and sending out film. This coach said he would have done so much if he had been his coach. We didn't even know till this year that we needed to get him signed up for the NCAA clearing house, we found out on our own. It should have been done last year. So we had to make sure that got done. He has been cleared except for final transcripts. And this coach, down the road, on his own personal time has gave Keenan very valuable coaching tips, strategy, and moves during this last summer and thru the year. He has really helped Keenan a lot and it is very appreciated! If you read the board, thank you! I do know that a certain coach does want to come to CC. But I'm sure politics would play apart in it.
