I thought I would start a thread to discuss the openers. Wartburg will host Monterey, Jellico host Williamsburg & the Cougars go to Loudon. What about these games? Who will win, what is expected? I know people there other than Jellico fans dont know much about wartburg so I will keep you posted. But what about the county teams?

Yeah apparently there isnt anyone on here even during football season anymore, it is pathetic. It just shows the lack of support & pride involved in this county. it is understandable though with the way we play. Ok bulldogcoach i will tell you how I see it....you are calling offense now so i have no doubt that your teams offense will be improved, but I dont think Wartburg is a winner this week. i did play for you & your offense was tough but not this week.
Jellico is well.....Jellico, they are as pathetic as this site 0-10 anyone?
CCHS well why cant we talk about the Mavericks they are a really good team. Oh they are open this week so I guess I will stick it to the Cougars. They play a smaller school & they will lose. bottom line, but I do not think it will be as bad as last year. 20-0 Loudon. Our offense is as pathetic as jellico, which is as pathetic as this site. You get my point...i do think the Cougars will win a couple this year.

You know I'd rather no one post if they're just going to come
on here and bash the Cougars. Or our other home teams
and coaches for that matter.

I support the Cougars, Dragons, and Mavericks in that order. I like to see our local schools do well ........and by the way, if Anderson County didn't have a few key Campbell Co. kids on their team they might not do so well.

Pressman.....I have never quite figured out who you are, you say you have been to some of my games at Bearden & at least 1 while I have been here, you also say you played for me. You complement my coaching then usually say that my team will lose? I dont get you. i think you like whoevers winning & if a team is struggling you turn on them pretty quick!

Wartbur 26 Monterey 7, Over 300 yards total offense including a school record 89 yard TD pass.
