There isnt one player on the team that this team would miss. Yea there is one really good kid who had one really good game, losing sean chapman would hurt more than anything.

Wow people are actually discussing something on here lol. Listen it doesn't matter who the best player is...if they want to leave good riddance. this has been going on for years. since 1993 to be exact. It use to bother me to the point that I always cheered against AC, I would almost celebrat an AC loss harder than I would celebrate a Cougar win. But, I got to the point not long before I moved away from Campbell County that everyone has to do what is best for themselves. If that means moving to another school for sports, then do it.
But, if a parent takes their child to another school & the only reason is for sports then they are sending their children the wrong message, teaching them to be a quitter, teaching them it is alright to turn your back on teammates & friends when the times are tough. And if they are leaving because of the coach go ahead...do not let a player or their mommy & daddy determine who the coach is at a school, that already happened once & it didn't work out so well for those kids. If the coach isn't being abusive the parents have no right to get involved, if they think they can do better go get a degree & become a coach.
I think that most people have forgotten or never even knew why interscholastic sports were even invented. Sure we all want to win & I hate losing more than anyone. But, playing sports is supposed to teach you so much more than winning & losing & what how to catch a pass or make a jump shot. One of the reasons interscholastic sports was even invented was for military preparedness, to teach kids how to accept discipline, to learn teamwork, how to overcome obstacles. the things that you need to know in everyday life.
Guesss what high school coaches don't get paid college salaries so get off their backs a little & admit, hey maybe we don't have that much talent. I very seriously doubt there is one kid at that school that will sign an SEC scholarship. So if they want to go to AC or any other school for that matter good riddance & good luck, i don't harbor any hard feelings.

i agree with that to a certain point i think if your gonna go to ac you should move to to ac and 90 percent of the kids from cc that do go to ac just go for sports honestly trust me i know i have friends that have went there for it
