Wow thats a tough one....for me it depends....If I wanna a good conversation along with my meal I will go to Waffle....for me it's just easier to talk there than scotties...If I want to fill up on some good greasy food It's def scotties!!!

While I was still a single man living in Knoxville, on those Friday and Saturday evenings, on the way back in from a drunken stupor, my buddies and I would stop at the Krystal and get some gut bombs and some of that wonderful chili.
When the warden and I first got married, pre the kids, we would occasionally go to poor boys in the early mornings. I have not really tried waffle house here. And I did not realize that scotty's was open in the early morning (is it?).
In the early morning eatery category, chili is important to me, waffle house has some good chili, scotty's is not so good in my opinion. So, I would have to go with waffle house in that case.

When I was young, Scotty's all the way. Now I'm old and Waffle House has good coffee. Of course I have my own business and 2 kids at the house so late nights are a thing of the past...unless I'm at the shop playing catch-up.

Waffle House all the way between these two. When I am travelling I try to find a good IHOP though.

The wife and I just got back from Scotty's. It was so nice to go into a No Smoking place and eat.
Ordinarily we would not have went to Scotty's because it would have been so reeked with smoke.
But now it is good to know that we can actually go in there and eat. That is unless of course the County Mayor is there, then that is another story.

Man I would love for poor boys to be open late night again. Now that was the place to go and get some good food late and have a good time.As for the County Mayor he should have to leave his post and there should be another vote by the voters of this county.This is almost as bad as the first election between Bush and Gore we voted this guy out now he is rite back in the drivers seat what B.S.

scotty's has way better food that waffle house and what a selection. scotty's is number #2 (# is the slick pig bbq in murfreesboro) on my all time favorite places to eat ever. i think im gonna go to scotty's today and get some scotty burgers, chili cheese fries, and probally something else. i wish you could smoke in there again though.
