I believe the game will pickup @ 6:35 in the 2nd Qtr, Owls 6 Eagles 0. LaFollette will be kicking off.. Am I correct?

Great win by the Owls. A better coached Jacksboro team might have taken the trophy home. LaFollette has soem great talent but Jacksboro is loaded with it.
Kudos to Coach Rutherford, his staff, and his players.

I think LMS is doing what we want CCHS to do. They are improving over the years. They are becoming more consistent. LMS has talent this year. Their names doesn't get tossed around like the Torrez's. There are a few there now that were key players in LMS winning the conference last year. They stepped it up this year a long with some new and brought another title home to LMS. I think it's time everyone sees LMS as competition. The last 9 years LMS has won 4. Almost tied!  Congrats LMS!

For someone that says you do not what people calling out the kids, why would you single out this kid? Is that kind of a double standard there or what? Please explain why you singled out this kid. Now that I have asked you the question, you have time to think about it and give a really sweet answer. Or you can tell the truth as to what you really meant by the statement, you decide which way you want to go. |

I meant he (Mike) was a great football player in HS and is just expected for his son to carry on the name and be the same. LMS boys that I know of...have no legacy from their dads in football! If they did (locally) we would know their names. Torrez is just a name that goes with football at CC. Do you ever see anything else in post other than something to argue about? You point out kids parents ....don't you think that hurts the kids? It was a compliment! Thank You |

LaFollette does deserve credit for a good win. But I think one thing helped LaFollette win more than any other factor.
Mike Miller was the coach on the other side. Nothing else needs to be said.
