I've got an asst. Devilcoach who's a member of the Vol Nation and he reads these boards. UT 48 - Cal 9. Is that about right, Tom?

If we win 48-9 I will be shocked!!!! We don't have the playmaker at receiver....will we be able to rush the passer this yr??? What about our kickinggame....rumors floating around that Colquitt will not be ready for the game...which leaves all duties to Freshman Daniel Lincoln......Will Arian Foster hold on to the football.....there are way to many questions for us to win 48-9.....I think it will be extremely close I will go
TN-31 Cal-29

Don't hold me to that score please. You never know what the Vols have until you see the first game. I have concerns too about our team this year. We have a lot of holes to fill and I don't know who's gonna get it done. We'll see what we've got. I was just funnin' with my Brother-in-law who goes to UT. That prediction is based soley from my heart.....not my head.

It should be a good game. The weather is suppoesed to be 81 with 10% humidity in California. My guess is:
UT - 24 Cal - 18

I think the lower scoring the game, the more it favors UT. But I dont think it will be a low scoring game, Cal 34- UT 20.

I hope I am wrong, but I am worried about the Big Orange in a tough season opener on the road. The LBs appear to be very strong as with the DBs. However, the DL is suspect, but perhaps Chavis & Co. will have a pleasant surprise for us.
The O-Line appears solid and our QB and RBs should be one of the best tandems in the SEC, if not the nation. The major question is, who is Ainge going to throw to?
Vols in a nail biter . . . 24-21
