 does anyone know if that was a planned onside kick or just a bad squib? hey I'm not complaining and I'm all for the motto you better put as many points on the board as you can cause they will try to do it to you next year. On that note rumor from the press box is union county's coach said he'll never play CCHS again. has any one else heard that or know if the kick was planned or not? just curious

It wasn't intentional.
Their coaches did say that they wouldn't
be here Monday. We will see.

Look it sealed the victory, therefore it was a good move. Union County should have been used to onside kicks HMMS(their feeder school) plays Jacksboro and it is the signature play there.
If Union County doesn't show Monday then oh well.

Thats pretty pothetic if u ask me if they dont show up. To be honest with you the game wasnt over when we kicked the onside. We were only up like 13 with 10 minutes to go. If their passing game started clicking then it could have been a game. I think it was a smart move or a good play by teh Cougars.

The boys are really excited about their first JV game. There is only a handful of freshmen on Varsity so there is a lot of boys that haven't got to play yet. including upper classmen. I hope they show!
