yeah if kinda would have been cool. I think they should hire somebody that has been a head coach before at the AAA with success in the the playoffs. i dont think they should hire in the county.

I agree 100% they have to stop settling for avg. Joe's and unqualified coaches...they're gonna have to buck up and pay people for their efforts if they are to begin to have success both off and on the field. A coach must foster good Student-Athletes to strive for excellence. I do not get hung up on W/L's if a team is performing to their best abilities, but I haven't seen that at CC in any sport in a very long time. Even with track's success they could be better with better coaching. Sherry was OK, but the school can do much better, and SHOULD for the sake of the kids.

they should fork over the cash for oak ridge's or mount juliet's coach.

This county hasn't even seen the amount of money Jill Pruden is making at Oak Ridge.........I wouldn't mind to see an assistant from a successful 3A school come here...I just don't think we could talk an established head coach in 3A to come here!

It is my understanding that they hired Sherry's assistant as the new head coach. If I am wrong, correct me, but that is what I was told by a school administrator.

I have been told by a couple of players that he is officialy the coach now too.
