Time is coming quick for the historic debut for the first season of XRRA Rock Racing in White Oak. Only one exhibition XRRA event has been held, but this event is the start of the Chase for the Maxxis Tires Championship. Expect high flying action that will provide a real departure from rockcrawling. The 28th will see the championship opening Tennessee Grand Prix, and on the 29th your favorite drivers will be back on track for a second Tennessee Mountain Rumble Shootout. All on the line in the Shootout is pride. So come out and check out what will be a historic moment for White Oak and the Clearfork Mining Off-Road Park.

The XRRA is a welcome addition, however Rockcrawling is still the heart and soul of the off-road park. Rockcrawling has given this county some of the best press in the last few years. Also there is alot more involved in rockcrawling, such as different classes of competition, and alot of great driving action. Rock racing will be exciting, but the substance is not the same as rockcrawling. Also go to Hollingsworth and buy a low-range magazine.

I always thought rock crawling sounded awful til I actually went to one. The rock racing sounds pretty sweet.

this sound like an opportunity for promo of campbell county. why dont you contact lynn letner commissioner to ask for support from tourism promotion on campbell county and let them know there are more opportunities in campbell county then just lake traffic. good job.

This is the best promotion for Campbell County. The Rock Races and Rockcrawls do more for tourism in this county that that commission realizes. This event will see teams from Texas, Colorado, and many other western states.

I raced a rock once...I got it on the start, built up a decent lead but then I faded and teh rock passed me by...it edged me at teh finish line but I have a rematch scheduled for sometime in June...
