Hello Wrestling Fans!
UWA's first major show of the 2007 "Ultimate Conflict" saw 4 new champions crowned. There was 200 fans in attendance and was very loud. The UWA would like to thank all the fans for making Ultimate Conflict a success.
On With The Results!
TV Title Match: . Travis Sawyer defeated Jerry Lee w/Danny Ray to become a 3 time TV Champion. Billy Marshall was the special guest referee. Jerry Lee seemed to have Sawyer beaten. Lee worked on the left leg of Sawyer the entire match. Sawyer could barely stand on his leg. Lee hit Sawyer with his powerslam and had Sawyer down for the pin, but Lee's manager Danny Ray had the referee's attention. Lee was upset and shoved the special referee Billy Marshall, this made Marshall mad enough to push Lee back and when he did Sawyer was behind him and rolled Lee up for the win.
No DQ Match: Lucky Charms win they get 5 minutes w/Ray Vandal, If Deal Or No Deal wins The Lucky Charms must disban. {Referee Gene Johnson} . The Lucky Charms defeated Deal Or No Deal The match went back and forth, if you can call it that. They were using any thing they could get their hands on. LanceStark of the Lucky Charms was using a trash can lid on Mike Ogle in the ring. Boss of DOND was using a chair onRip O'kelly on the outside of the ring. O'Kelly used the chair to bust open the Boss. Stark used a cruth to choke Ogle. These guys were going to end this feud with blood and guts and that is what they did. The Lucky Charms Lance Stark & Rip O'Kelly defeated DOND when The Lucky Charms hit Ogle with a double suplex. It looked as Ogle may have landed on his head.
This meant The Lucky Charms got Ray Vandal in the ring for 5 minutes. Vandal attcked Stark & O'Kelly from behind with a chain, but it did not take long for Stark & O'kelly to get the best of Vandal. They chopped him numerous times.
. The King Shane Williams defeated Former WCW/ECW/TNA Star Johnny Swinger {Referee Gene Johnson} This turned out to be one of the best matches of the night. There was a handshake before the match, showing of respect. That did not last long, Williams was reversing enerything that Swinger was throwing at him. Swinger got frustrated and started using underhanded tactics such as scrathing at the back, hitting Williams in the throat and using a closed fist. Swinger took most of the match but The King Shane Williams came out on top when he hit Swinger with a piledriver for the 3 count.
. The Now w/Logan Chase defeated Eric Adamz & Travis Sawyer {Referee AJ Gann} Menace was supposes to be Adamz partner but was unable to get there in time. After about 5 minutes of going at it alone in the match Travis Sawyer came out and became Adamz partner. It seemed that the Now were going to manhandle Adamz but he did very well handling himself in the 2 on 1 situation until the Now started double teaming him. Sawyer came out when he saw what was going on and got in Adamz corner. Adamz was trying hard to get to his corner to make a tag. Adamz had been in this match alone for about 10 minutes. Adamz finally gets the tag. Sawyer comes in hot, but the Now got the best of him. Sawyer was thrown into his on corner and he made a blind tag, Sawyer went to clotheline Hale but he ducked it and Vik drop kicked Sawyer into the corner. Hale kicked Sawyer out of the ring. Adamz came at Vik with a double ax handle but Vik kicked him in the gut and hoisted him on his shoulders and threw him backwards where Hale caught him with reverse RKO.
. Charles Long & Kassie Rains defeated The New Heartaches Donavan Daniels & Jim Miller w/Cotton Candy {Referee The Spur} Chales Long and Donavan Daniels started out the match. Daniels tried to stay away from Long but that did not happen long. Long took it to Daniels, Miller came in to help but Long to it to both men. He hit both men with one of the best drop kicks in the business. Long & Rains took it to the New Heartaches for the first few minutes of the match. Rains hit Miller with a superplex on Miller and goes for the pin but Daniels breaks it up. Miller & Daniels kept Rains in the match and tried to keep Long isolated on the outside. Rains favored her back for the rest of the match after superplexing Miller from the top rope earlier in the match. Rains took everything that the New Haertaches could dish out and would not stay down. Long was getting very frustrated with the Heartaches double teaming Rains. Billy Marshall got the microphone in the middle of the match and suspended Donavan Daniels for hitting the Spur last week. Security came in the ring and escorted Daniels from the ring. This left Miller in a handicap match with Long & Rains. The end came when Cotton Candy threw Miller a chain, Miller turns around and Long hits him with a superkick. Rains comes in and covers Miller for the victory.
. Former Deep South Stars High Impact w/Tracy Taylor defeated The Outlaws w/Danny Ray {Referee The Spur}This match turned out to be a technical match. High Impact did not want to go with power so they nade the Outlaws fight their kind of fight. The Daltons showed that they can wrestle any style of match. The Daltons took it to High Impact and did not show any signs of intemidation. The Daltons picked a body part on High Impact and worked it. This was a different Outlaws match. Most of their matches are hard hitting and power moves. High Impact grounded the Outlaws but it did not seem to matter. High Impact got the win when Tony of High Impact went for a sunset flip, Jason Dalton came in and grabbed Chris Dalton's hands to keep him from going down. Mike Taylor of High Impact came in and & grabbed Jason Dalton with a sunset flip, both Daltons were pinned.
. Menace defeated Bobwyre {Referee Gene Johnson} This was an awesome match. Menace & Bobwyre have had some great matches in the past. Both men are fan favorites but both men pulled out all stops. Bobwyre actually smacked the taste out of Menace's mouth and Menace replied with a massive chop to Bobwyre. Menace gets a huge monkey flip on Bobwtre that sends him all the way across the ring, this gets them a huge UWA chant. Bobwyre connects with chops of his own. Bobwyre was using a different tactic in this match by using some shortcuts. Menace tries to superplex Bobwyre to the outside but Bobwyre cuts him off and knocks him off the ring apron, Bobwyre goes to the top rope and comes off on Menace with a suicide dive on the floor. Bobwyre tried to suplex Menace from the apron of the ring to the outside but Menace blocked it and suplexed Bobwyre to the inside. Bobwyre hits Menace with a DDT for a 2 count but Menace comes back with a DDT using the ropes to get more leverage then hits a swanton bomb but Bobwyre kicks out. Menace goes to the top rope, Bobwyre runs to the top to try for a frankensteiner but Menace catches him and hits whay I call the Menace driver to get the win.
After the match: Menace helps Bobwyre up and shows him respect.
Southern Heavyweight Title Match: Taped Fist, 3 Knock Down Rule . Jeff Anderson defeated Robbie Race to become a 2 time Southern Heavyweight Champion. {Referee The Spur} The first man to be knocked down 3 times would be the loser. This turned into the bloodiest match of the night. Race hates Anderson mor than anything. I don't think that Race was even thinking about the title. He was more focused on hurting Jeff Anderson. They started off with rights and lefts to each other. The match spilled to the outside and Race was knocked down by a clotheline. Race was down 1-0. The action was back in the ring with both men giving it their all. It did not last long in the ring until the action spilled back outside the ring and into the fans. Race was throwing rights, he almost had Anderson down but Anderson escaped. Both men were back into the ring, where Race continued with the rights to the head, Anderson finally went down. Now it is 1-1, Race and Anderson went back to the outside and ended up at the concession stand fighting on top of tables. Race was hitting Anderson with a food tray. They were trying to injure each other. They took the action to the outside of the building. {I do not know what happened out there.} Both men were bleeding when they returned to the building. Race was bleeding excessively. Race took Anderson down in the modified Fuller Leglock and the referee said that that was a knock down on both men. It is now 2-2. Referee had to get security to come in and get Race to break the leglock. The match turned into a slugfest, Anderson pulled the Spur in the way and Race accidentally hit Spur. Race went to check on Spur but Anderson continued to hit Race with right hooks, Race had to fight back. Anderson was knocked into the ropes by Race, Anderson came off the ropes and hit Race with a shoulder and he tripped over Spur which sw Race fall and declared Anderson the winner of the match and New Southern Heavyweight Champion.
It has been stated that Robbie Race blames Spur for his loss. More to come on this as soon as I get it.
Cell Block Cage Match, UWA Tag Team Titles: 5th Match of Best of 5 . Death Row Inmates defeated Heat Seekers V2 to win the held up UWA Tag Team Titles. This match was not a dissappointment. There were weapons tied to the cage. The Heat Seekers went right after DRI. The match started on the outside and spilled inside the cage. These guys wasted no time and started using the cage as a weapon. Both teams were going to do what ever that had to to take home the tag straps. They used a stop sign, steel chair, a chair, and whatever else thay could get their hands on. It was suprising that no one got busted open in this matchup. This was a fight, not a wrestling match. Willie B Badd took Andrews and put him back first into the cage. Scooty Hanson handed a kendo stick to Badd, Jason Maxx held Andrews up and Badd came off the top rope and hits Andrews in the head with it. DRI samshes Sigmon in the head with a steel chair. It looked as though anything that DRI did would keep The Heat Seekers down. Heat Seekers were making a comeback and used the stop sign to bash Jason Maxx over the head. Beating Willie B Badd with right hands. The Heat Seekers had Maxx against the ropes, Andrews put a chair behind his head and Sigmon kicked him in the face, knocking his head into the chair. Badd on the top rope, Sigmon goes up but Badd grabs him and powerbombs him off the top rope. Badd had Sigmon down in the corner and puts a stop sign in front of him and runs from one corner with a drop kick to the stop sign in the face of Sigmon. Badd came off the top rope with a splash to Sigmon, Andrews makes the save. Andrews hit Maxx at least 5 times in the head with a kendo stick before he went down. Both Maxx & Badd had Andrews and Sigmon up for the Kryptonite Crunch but Andrews got out of it and rolled Maxx up, Badd had Sigmon pinned. Spur counted both men. On man on each team was pinned. Very contraversal. At first Billy Marshall was going to hold up the titles and DRI & Heat Seekers would face each other next week in a 30 minute Iron Man Match. Sigmon put his hands on Marshall so he sid the match would be restarted and if The Heat Seekers did not finish the match both of them would be fired from the UWA. The match was restarted, Marshall told the Spur to start the 10 count. The Heat Seekers did get into the ring and tried to finish it quickly by going for double sunset flips but, DRI sat on them to get the win and become UWA Tag Team Champions once again.
