I think this poll is a great idea. I don't mind a bit that other sports are discussed on the message board as long as it is positive and not like that xxxstar clown

I think it will be Ohio State beating Florida for the title this year

That would be a good game but i think florida will proboly get beat this weekend agienst* Auburn if they do and USC gets beat by Notre Dame we could have a 1 loose team in the Championship AGAIN this year and more BCS crap and just think if my buckeyes get beat they better put them in the championship cause they have showed they r the best team in college football. i think they outta have a 10 team play off kinda like they do in the NFL

if florida goes unbeaten the rest of the way, and they go on to win the sec championship, then they should be in the national championship at the end of the year. but being a tennessee fan i'm rooting for florida to lose at least 2 more sec games so tennessee can jump ahead of them in the sec east. auburn will be a tough one for florida if auburn plays there best ball b/c it should be hard auburn to lose 2 in a row, especially since auburn lost a big one to arkansas this weekend. it'll be tough for auburn to rebound after that one especially since they're going up against florida. the first half should be a slow one for auburn to get back into the rythem of things. all vol fans better start hoping that auburn pulls an upset this weekend. you know that the tennessee football players are going to be watching that one close b/c it's their bye week. it may be a long season, but times running out for the vols to get back in it with a florida loss.

look for the bcs title game to have a team with one loss... even if louisville and/or west virginia go undefeated they probably won't and probably shouldn't play for the bcs championship because of their weak schedule... the gayturds have a shot but they still must face a hurt and wounded auburn team, plus they would also have the task of winning the sec title game... they could accomplish this but wiil they??? ohio state could still possibly stumble along the way...michigan lurks at the end of the season... usc on the left coast still must make it through the remainig conference schedule and then knock off the IRISH of ND at the seasons end... could get interesting and very confusing and quite frustrating to several teams and their fans as the season comes to its conclusion!!!

What would it take for the BCS to add another game or two and just have a playoff series consisting of the top eight teams. Start a couple of weeks earlier and you could have a true national champion by Jan. This only make to much sense and is only a matter of time.

I think this is already in the works in the form of an extra bowl game after the regular bowl games have been played... not sure if the specifics have been worked out just yet... as far as a playoff like the NFL or lower division colleges have, dont look for that to happen...at least not in the near future...

how do you decide who is #1, #2, and so on... tehpolls whichis based on sports writers/media and coaches opinions... that would be just like picking teh heisman trophy winner... too much bias... computers would do no better... they only know what people put in them... it would be so hard to pick a good system unless you just go by conference chamnpions and a few at large picks among the independents...
