This week is both CCHS homecoming against Bearden and The Egg Bowl. The Egg Bowl is huge this year and will determine the playoff futures for Jacksboro and LaFollette. Thoughts on these two games?

Well I will be there for the homecoming game on the other side of the ball for the first time. Should be fun! The egg bowl is always fun of course I wish both teams well.

Well I would like to see JMS pull it off after coaching there for 5 years. But, there are kids that I coached coaching on both sides of the ball. From my understanding Cody Parker is the OC at Lafollette now. I hope he does agreat job.

Cody is going to be an excellent coach in the future. As are Derek, Chris and Joeseph.

First of all best of luck to both teams in the egg bowl, Lms brings a strong ground game and a whole new attitude to Lms and trying to elevate the program to a JMS type of tradition. From what I heard steve rutherford calls most of the plays but is open minded to his assistants. Should be a great egg bowl.
Now the cc bearden game. It should automatically be assumed that bearden will score at least 28. And im not so sure it will be the wide recievers that will give the cc defense fits, if you look at the teams that have threw the ball effectively they have had great production out of their slot guys. The wells boys will play solid but the cc defense will be on the field way to long once again. beardencoach will be victorius in his first game against his ol stomping grounds.

Well I already picked the eagles to win 14-12 in another topic. Can the cougars pull off a homecoming win? I hate to say this but... NO! beardencoach returns home & leaves in fashion 45-0
