I am considering reopening the forum to nonregistered members on a trial basis. Thoughts?

patrick please dont do it...too many of the "guests" were using this site to openly argue with other guests...if they want to make a valid point, then let them do it as a registered member...if they want to take part in their petty bickering let them meet somewhere else and do their personal squabbling...most of them havent a clue as to whats going on anyway...ignorance was often dispkayed abundantly...

I always just read messages instead of writing them....It took me 5 minutes to fill out a free membership, it won't hurt for these people to join if they have an opinion....and it leaves the chicken poops that put "guest" outside.

I couldn't agree with you more peeblee and jigsawbandit. Most people tried to hide behind their guest post and if you are too sorry to take a couple of minutes to fill out the membership form, you don't need to post.

I see both sides of the issue. I guess it boils down to when you log on to post do you enjoy seeing 15 or 20 people viewing, or do you want to see 3 or 4, or sometimes one (yourself).
I hardly ever post anyway I just enjoy reading, but reading has been less as posts have been less. There has been less interest in general. But as I said I see both sides.

I see both sides also. The thing about it, it makes for a very interesting soap opera when the guests are on.
Id like to ask, why is it so hard to get on at times when you are a member? You have to log on and log on. It is even getting worse.

bigorange1...you can choose the option to stay logged on for a week or forever if you want. So when you go back you don't even have to log in. What I do...because I don't want people to think that I'm on 24 hours a day...to the contrary... I'm not...lol....You can choose to be invisible and stay logged in forever. Just a suggestion.

I know some members are having trouble signing in and that is the main reason I was considering changing it. I talked to some last night and told them how they could probably fix their problem. If you know of anybody who can't log in let me know.
