They will make the call about 1 p.m. Friday about trying to play Thursdays games Friday night.
Everything will be pushed back one day and Monday and Tuesday will be the consolation and championship games at Norris Middle unless AC decides to let them use the gym to play all the games on Monday. That was the last word I had today before I left NMS today.

For some odd reason in Middle school b-ball you dont have to play everyone in you district during the regular season, but if you dont you enter the tournament as the bottom seed, at least that is what I have been told.

Everyone needs to come out and support your local county teams tonight, all 4 teams are playing tonight!!!! Good luck to everyone!! You got Lafollette vs Norris (girls)@ 4:30, HMMS vs Jacksboro (boys) @ 5:45, Jefferson vs Jacksboro (girls) @ 7:15, LaFollette vs Jefferson (boys) @ 8:30. Be there and cheer your favorite team on!!!!!!!! The teams always play harder when the fans are behind them, and remember we're all from the same county. GO LADY OWLS, LADY EAGLES, EAGLES, AND OWLS!!!!!!! Congrats to the Owls on an outstanding season!!!
p.s. GO LADY EAGLES #35 & #40, whooooo hooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um, I almost take offense to that, As an official of the knox ridge association...I dont think any of us look to call more for or against one side or the other. I was not there last night so I have no clue who the officials were, but I doubt that they cared who won one way or another. Now when it is a complete blowout that can be almost humiliating to one team, I might be a little more lenient for them towards the end of a game. I know you were not taking a shot at me Im just taking up for the officials....its a very hard job & nobody can get all of the calls right...well accept for me..lol

Well I appreciate that, I consider myself to be fair...but deep down I wouldnt mind seeing one of the campbell county schools pull out a championship...I just call it as I see it & everytime before I go out I say a small prayer that I do the best I can to help these kids have a good clean game

Keep it up...you will get your wish because the championship is coming to Campbell County tomorrow....OWLS vs EAGLES! Wow! who would've thought it?? We are winners either way. The Owls played another great game tonight against Jefferson. Anytime you can beat a Jefferson team three times in a season you have acomplished something! I am so proud of the Owls tonight...and it was a good, fair called game tonight! Kudos to the officials! GO OWLS |

You're right one local team will get the championship for the boys that's for sure but what about those Lady Eagles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They upset the no. 1 seed of Jefferson!!! They will playing Norris tomorrow for the girls championship. Great job Lady Eagles and good luck to all three teams, also good luck to the Lady Owls, they will be playing for 3rd place against Jefferson. Everyone needs to come out and support these teams!!! They're all ONE team ya know.
