well, haven't been on here in a few days and after I read the first message, after my last post, i skipped the rest. Sorry for the confusion.
I went to LaFollette, so, I definitely was there cheering them on. I simply responded to a message posted by TNVOLSFAN with my opinion. I thought that is what we did on here. Didn't mean to start a fire.
As far as the kids ages, I was just told that by a friend of the assist. coach.

I don't see a problem with your post T2. It is just that these kids have caught alot of unnecissary flack from other posters and it has left some other posters overly sensitive. I think they stack up well against alot of other LaFollette teams over the years but probably are not the greatest of all time. Of course unless you have a time machine we will never know for sure. Congrats to both the Eagles and Owls this season!

I hadn't had a chance to watch them all season, but went to the district games. They wouldn't match up well at all. It is a two man show with a few good role players. They play hard, but have lapses on the offensive end. Their D is actually not very good at all. The main reason for winning is the gigantic kid (who I was told is a year older than everyone else) and the point guard dribbles (who I was told is also a year older than everyone else) around until he gets a shot, and it's not always a good one. I think you could shut them down with a 1-3-1 defense with a couple of big guys in the game. Offensively, could beat them with just moving the basketball around and getting up and down the court. The big guy doesn't like to run. Just for clarification, the "giant kid" didn't have over 10 points the whole tourny, and there are strict age rules to prevent older kids from playing. Learn your facts. Secondly, the "two man show" really shows your ignorance, because we had another player score 12 and 20 the last two games, Once again showing your ignorance. And about 12 of the 20 wins came against teams who tried a 1-3-1 and that didn't work either. Ignorance is becoming common. And as for having the big kid, Jacksboro has one just as tall and another about a half inch taller. You made a good attempt to knock down a great team, but simply made yourself sound ignorant, so next time you speak of this team, I hope it would we a congratulatory statement and nothing else. Isn't "Defender" Daniel? If so, Basketball IQ wouldn't be a strong argument. I would lay off of the ignorance statement.

Yes, that is Daniel and your evaluation was pretty good t2. The big boy has a serious attitude problem. It's really embarrassing to watch when he goes to the bench, mouth's off at the coach and sits there totally disgusted and could care less what it going on. Maybe that's why he didn't play football the whole season!

Congrats to both the Eagles and Owls this season! Hey, I agree, they are not just a good team, they are a great team. Heck, they're undefeated going into the last tourney. Can't get any better than that. Yea, we can't go back and play games against old teams, but the fun part is talking about then and now.

Maybe that's why he didn't play football the whole season! All of my dealings with the big kid as you guys call him, Luke is his name, have been that he is a very good kid. I ahve even had officials comment about how nice he is.

I didn't mean to say that Luke was a bad kid. As far as I know, he's not a bad kid. It's just his basketball attitude. Some people can change into a completely different person when they are in the throws of athletic competition, know what I mean? It's only a case of his sportsmanship and coach-ability need work.

I see what you are saying. But I do want to put out there that I have had at least three officials compliment on what a nice and respectful kid he is in the game.
