Well UT is going to keep Cutcliffe who interviewed with the Cleveland Browns(not a shock really, I mena who in their right mind would willingly go to Cleveland let alone coach there).
Trooper Taylor has been approached about taking the head job at Howard University. I'd hate to see him go. He is an exciting young coach and a great recruiter.

Trooper has an interesting choice to make.....Howard is not a big school but it would double his salary! However if he stays here and has another good yr a better job might open up.....wonder what he will do?  |

It would be tough to turn down a head job. I can see him staying though.

how much does he make at UT???
what does Howard pay?
He could do the head coach thing. but if he wants to be a head coach at a higher level than Howard, he best stay at UT or some other D-1 school..
an unsuccesful stint at Howard and his stock falls..
even if he is hihgly successful at howard, how muh media coverage would he receive, teh needed media attention that would help lhim move up...
