Didn't he coach Jacksboro High School and later CCHS? Does anyone know if he is still coaching...I think he may be the coach at Clinton County, KY.

You know he did coach both of those schools & I can remember when coach peb was stabbed in the back that Dwayne Wilder did an interview with Hatcher about the "revolving door policy" at CCHS & it seems like he mentioned him being somewhere in Kentucky. I still have the article I will check it of course that is 10 years old now.

The coach at Clinton Co. is certainly George Hatcher...but I do not know if it is this "George Hatcher," probably is though.

hatcher gave me my first coaching job the last year jacksboro was a high school...a 10 and 0 season, the schools first ever, and a trip to the playoffs...what a first year experience as a coach that was for me... hatcher coached at catholic, maynardville (i think), wayne county ky, and then moved around in kentucky after that...last I heard he was in western ky somewhere...and he did coach at CC for a very brief stint ...it seems like all coaches at CC have coached for a brief stint...coach wells needs to be careful...he is "bucking" tradition and is now on overtime...LOL !!!

willard brought a middle school team to play in our jamboree one year...he had a copy/version of OUR 26 special...naturally coach bruce had them well scouted...they ran "26 special" on the very first play...the corbin player (willards stud running back) suffered a broken arm...I thought willard was going to cry...the "game" was delayed for almost thirty minutes it seems...
you are correct..willard has been there forever and is one heck of a coach...

JMS and CMS used to have some battles when Jacksboro was still Jacksboro...it has certainly changed......A LOT!!!! I loved to play corbin... always like a classic battle... won some, lost some... always hated to lose, but there was no shame in losing to corbin... and a win over them always made me proud of the team ... always a hard hitting clean football game... dont get me wrong when I say clean... those games were as physical as h*ll... a few personal fouls and some late hits... but nothing intentional... just plain old hard nosed knock you **ck (sorry ladies ) in the dirt football !!!
