I love it. Its just like the rivalry in the 90s except now we have the trash talking coach that wears a visor.

Well, I liked his comments at and after the game, but when he made that accusation against Meyer way back about a recruiting violation that wasn't really a violation I thought that was a bad start.
But hey- even though we lost, at least we A) Didn't let Tebow throw a touchdown B) intercepted him and C) made him fumble. If other teams can keep that up we can crush his Heisman hopes. Which isn't much of a victory since he already won it once before but hey, no point letting him get it again.

And the moral victory machine rolls right along!!
There have been several people tell us on campus that have direct contact with Lane that he is, stuck up as can be. There is a level of arrogance there that these people say is kinda like some people that you meet and you automatically just can't stand them, who knows?
It really wont matter if he will just win ballgames, right?

He could laugh in my face and I would still hold him dear to my heart! We don't have to like the man and he doesn't have to like us. Not every person on campus is a Vol fan. Believe me there are plenty of students who support other teams. These are the haters who are not around Coach Kiffin enough to know either way whether he is a nice guy or not. These haters are just intimidated by him and scared of what he could do at Tennessee. It is their voices that you are talking about. Besides your loyalties are to the Big Blue. Maybe your focus should be more on Coach Brooks and not Coach Kiffin. Does Richie have all the love of Lexington behind him? Is he their guy? Unless he learns to bounce a basketball...I seriously doubt it. Just a thought!

Yes, you are correct, my loyalties are to the Big Blue, win, lose or draw! The only reason that I made any comments was because, 1. I work here at UT. and 2. The subject of the posting was about Lane Kiffin and not Rich Brooks.
I know that there is going to be people that object to the teams coach no matter what and no matter how many games are won. My gosh, look at what Phil Fulmer did at UT and everyone was quick to run him off, weren't they? It seems that everyone has a very short term memory now!
I think that your comment about cheating brings some merit, because Lane has already shown that the rules really don't matter to him! I don't know.........................

Your posts seem to pick on Tennessee fans a bit. Your correct in saying the earlier post was not about Rich Brooks but I was trying to point out that Tennessee and Kentucky fans are the same when it comes to wins and losses. Have you forgotten that Billy Gillispie was mediocre, and out the door he went? Joe B. Hall won a National Championship with UK, but all I remember was the constant criticism from UK fans about his coaching ablilities.
Phil Fulmer coached Tennessee to the top of college football, but he is largely to blame for Tennessee being mediocre today. At the end of his tenure as Tennessee Head football coach, he had lost his edge in my opinion. I know that changes were needed no matter how difficult they were. I support the changes made at UT. I also support Coach Fulmer. He is a class act, and I will follow his career wherever he goes. As far as coach Kiffin is concerned, he is not a cheater as you imply. I think it is insulting to Tennessee fans that you feel the need to point this out to us as fact. You really should be more concerned with the antics of John Calipari, (who puts Lane Kiffin to shame), and not worry so much about Tennessee coachs
