I would like to make one salient point here, if I may, regarding the current situation with the boys basketball team. Viewing the situation threw the sanity offered by being several hours away. The point is a simple one, by making a power play of this type, for placing into question the ability of CCHS to field a team at non district games the individuals and there parents are at best guilty of blackmail and at worst financial terrorism. To deal with this situation,one must simply invoke the mantra of the 20th century's greatest president, Ronald Regan. "We will not negotiate with terrorists". If CCHS were to have to forfeit non-district games and be forced to pay the fines contractually obligated, it would fall directly on the shoulders of the "quitters" and there parental units. However a question still remains, was there collusion? Was there a wink and a nod beyond a lets try this and see what happens? I don't know, but if it is even remotely possible, then every coach, nay every employee of the Campbell County School system has just had a loaded pistole leveled directly at them. We must ask the question, who knew it and when did they know it? very astute post bigkev...but RR the greatest prez of teh 20th century is going a bit far...LOL...but we wont discuss that on this board...LOL!!! |

Not to change the subject here, but it just goes to show that anything that comes out of Jusy Blevins mouth cant hold water. which brings up the question...just what does her mouth hold??? |
