I am going to take a step back and evaluate things from what I have seen from CC this year. What if all this "talent" that is up there right now just is not that good? What if Coach Pierce has been doing what he knows just to keep them in games? Is it Coach Pierce's fault that there is not one kid on the the team who boxes out? What about missing free throws and wide open jump shots? If a player does not slide his feet and flat out just cant do it, Is that Coach Pierce's fault?? If a player does not like the way his coach does things, he wants to quit , then they do not love the game. What about TURNOVERS which kill CC at crucial times? Does Pierce throw it away? Or what about when a player goes 1 on 3? your probably thinkin you take them out right, what if your just not confident enough with your bench? Do I agree with everything he does, NO, Did I when I played, No, But he was MY COACH SO I LISTENED. To me it all boils down to an unrealistic expectation level that was set because this squad had so much "talent". AND PEEEBS AND Ae2 I AM WITH YOU. IF A KID HAS THREATNED TO TRANSFER, I ASK FOR THE JERSEY, BECAUSE AT THE POINT ITS ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL AND NOT THE TEAM.

:)well i guess we as adults should take a lesson from our children, they have been pushed to the limit by what is taking place at cchs , we as parent have talked about the problem with the program for to long now , these brave young men ( most have played together for the past 5-6 years and never been on a losing team) have stood up to the system, they have done what few adults ever do, united they are saying we want a change in our coach, i have been involved in sports all my life and if one child doesnt like the coach, thats ok, if 2 kids dont like the coach thats to be expected, but when 3 or more dont want to play for a coach because of his actions, that is a big problem. i can never in my life remember when we had a boys program that had a losing record for more than a year, but to lose 24 games last year and headed for 20 or more losses this year is not acceptable, i hear people say there is no talent at cchs, but let me point out that the soph.class won 20+ games under mike r at lms, the senior class went undefeated at lms under rick h. but where are these boys now?? most have fallen thru the cracks or been thrown under the bus, to quote coach pierce " i have ran off alot better ball player than that kid" these boys have been coached to run wide open to press every minute, to challenge every pass and pressure every shot. now they are told to slow down.. hold the ball, that is like telling a fish not to swim, a deer not to run or a bird not to fly, as a person i have no problem with mr. pierce, all i know is that he is being paid to do a job, and the results are not acceptable, if we as adults dont deliver results at our jobs we are released, so the record speaks for itself, its time for a change at coach, My early money is on the cougars winning 5 games this year, so that is a record of 10 wins and 50 losses in the past 2 seasons... ( who remembers wade houston?? ) i would venture to bet anyone out there that mike r. would have these same boys at 7-3 right now. but who am i to question the system, maybe if we stand by and do nothing it will all get better, but i think that is what alot of jewish people did in the 40's BEFORE WWII---------

I agree.......I was just curious to the timing? These people have seen Len Pierce coach before...he is coaching this yr's team just like his pasts. Most people think its bad coaching, but thats how he has done it for a while now....I just wanna know if you all had to do it over again...would you have done it before the yr started? Just curious?

Maybe the players have finally reached the point where enough is enough! Unlike some people on here who back coach P regardless, I also think that it is time for a change!! It's really a shame that it had to go to this point.

Only Cory M and Johnathan G were at the game tonight along with 4 freshmen! Cory got hurt early in the game and had to go to the hospital, so the cougs finished with 5.

Im just wonderin why Pierce would step down..if anything I think this just makes him mad and he stays for spite! The only way Pierce will not be coaching IMO is if he gets voted out! I don't think he will just quit! Could be wrong though!
