Jacksboro girls will play North Middle at 6:00 on Friday and Jacksboro boys will play North Stars (not sure if that's North Middle also) at 7:00.

Hey guys, the games with the Lady Eagles and Eagles are being played here at Jacksboro Middle. If the teams win here then they go on to Pigeon Forge, only the no. 1's go straight to Pigeon Forge, the no 2's host at their own schools and the no. 3's go to a different region school and play a no. 2. I know sounds crazy but that's it.

I know that originally the games were supposed to be on Thursday. They were changed to Friday? I want to make sure so I can be there. I know alot of the owls are going to be there also.

The person I got this info from is a parent and regular member of the board. I have no reason not to believe her. I am going to call JMS today to confirm for the benefit of the board members that are concerned though.

The games are at Jacksboro Middle but you may want to check for sure now due to the incident at the school today, just to be on the safe side. I do hope everyone will come out and support the Lady Eagles and Eagles. It would be great to have 3 local teams sitting in Pigeon Forge together!!! That would say alot for the talent here in our county.

There was a bomb threat today at Jacksboro Middle, but all of the students were safely and quickly evacuated to Jacksboro First Baptist Church. When I picked up my son at approximately 2:00p.m., the school had already been searched by the bomb team/dogs according to Mrs. Wheeler.
Congrats to Mrs. Wheeler and staff for an exceptional job in keeping our students safe and calm.

The Owls will play in Pigeon Forge on Monday night at 7pm. I would sure be nice to see a good crowd of supporters there!

I agree volviking, the staff at JMS did a great job getting the students out safely and quickly. You can't take things like this lightly that's for sure!! A special "thank you" to Mr. Gearing, he did an outstanding job as well. I also want to wish the Owls "good luck" Monday, you've worked hard for this so play smart but most of all enjoy it, especially you 8th graders, this is an opportunity you won't have again. Be proud of your accomplishments and most of all be proud of yourselves.
