Stephen is a real good player and hes only a sophomore. It seems like he may have gotten a lil faster this year. He is definately showed improvement. Brance is playin good besides his blow up against Clinton, but he was gettin hit before he had time to do ne thing.

The twins are two of the best players I have ever coached. They would have started as 6th graders at Jacksboro had they been a little taller.

Stephen is good, and has picked off a pass and made some great tackles, but I think you guys are talking about Phillip and not Stephen. I know its really hard o tell them apart so here ya go.
Phillip - #3 Stephen - #4
Phillip has made some great open field tackles in including about 6 back to back in the Jeff County game. They are both fun to watch. Im really suprised that Troy Arnold wasnt on here. He is just a sophomore as well and is already. the signal caller for the defense in the huddle.

Either way the three players mentioned above are the three best defensive players I have ever coached. They all have great futures.

I am not going to vote, but both Wells boys are good players they are the brightest spot on the field for the Cougars...that is a fact.

I also have to add that Troy Arnold is as good as anybody I have ever coached and will be a huge bright spot for the Cougars in the next couple of years.

wells? should the poll be most athletic by the standards people are voting? That puts the linemen at a disadvantage and not a prayer.

I think it was more of a "what player has had the biggest impact for his team" type of survey.

I think even if it were a "what player has had the biggest impact for his team" survey , It would have to be one of the wells boys. Minton would be the only other consideration for me after watching the others play.
