hey dukefan, I will have to go with Pistol Pete. He put up unbelievable stats back in his day. I wasn't around when he was playing, but on film he looked awesome. Was way ahead of his time as far as ball handling and showmanship. I'm Rethingy has your vote. Heck Chris Lofton is better than him. Wonder who our tarheel fan will chime in with?(MJ probably)

after some deep thinking, "man my head is hurting", I enjoyed watching Grant Hill. Of course, that team was loaded, so who knows.

There have been so many great players, it really depends whether your talking about the best scorer, best defender, rebounder or whatever. Overall best player is still really a hard choice.

whether the best or not I liked to watch Kenyon Martin for the Bearcats. Until he broke his leg he was awesome and they looked destined to be champs.

I almost said Anfernee....he was the man...but I also think Grant Hill was also! This is just to mind boggling....there IS to many! One of my all time faves is Charles Barkley.....if he couldn't beat you on the court he would beat your face....lol

I never got to see Pistol Pete but he will probably go down as the greatest, with 2 other LSU players right behind... Shaq and Chris Jackson. This coming from a Kentucky fan...
