I just got back from the UT/Texas basketball game. This may be the most exciting game every played in Thompson-Boling. The comeback in the 2nd half was amazing and the effort the Vols displayed was out of this world! I've been watching Chris Lofton shoot 3's since his junior year in high school at Mason County. He put up 39 in the state championship game his Junior year against a very athletic Louisville Ballard was the greatest shooting exhibition I've every witnessed on a grand stage. If you never witnessed the Sweet Sixteen state basketball tournament at Rupp you are missing the greatest show in hoops. The atmosphere is unreal, plus no class system so you only have one true state champion each year. His 3 pointer he hit today to put the Vols up by one was unbelieveable. He has mastered the step back 3 point shot, and may be the best pure shooter in the college game. I'm sure Tubby and Rick at Uk and UL are kicking themselves for not recruiting this kid. Their loss is our gain! Crews, Chrism, and Ramar Smith played great today for Freshmen. Just a sidenote Kevin Durant for Texas will be playing in the NBA. What a talent! Go Vols beat Tech and ETSU!
